  Tragedy struck our family in 2022. We thought that our home would never be the same. Rich S***** and Associates did an amazing job in restoring our home.
  Kristi F********* with her consummate professionalism and her meticulous dedication to detail and countless hours of willingness to assist, did a phenomenal job in budgeting and making our lives a lot easier when choosing items to replace in our home.
  DeKota D*******, was outstanding as foreman. He was instrumental in executing the refurbishment of our lovely home.
  As homeowners we were extremely pleased with the outcome. We highly recommend Rich S***** and Associates for their outstanding work.

  Our Mom's house burned in February of 2022. The insurance company told us that they did not think the house could be repaired for the price insured for. We were put in touch with R & J Contracting. We met Rich at the house and he assured us that they could repair the house within the insurance parameters. We are very grateful for the hard work and efforts that were put into the house. Everything was gutted and new plumbing, wiring, HVAC, flooring, drywall etc. was installed. The house looks gorgeous. It was a real pleasure to work with all of the R & J staff especially during a time of crisis such as what we endured with this fire. Kristi was very helpful in guiding us on appliance purchases, paint colors, counter tops, putting us in touch with suppliers and keeping us informed on the spending budget with a weekly statement. Dakota, Kevin and Brian were great at keeping the work moving and keeping us informed on progress and resolving any issues that came up. Erika was great at answering questions and helping with financial issues. Rich was always responsive and easy to get in touch with. He always responded in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing help with a fire restoration.

  I had a house fire in January of 2022. My home had to be completely gutted and re-built. Needless to say, this was quite devastating. I was given a referral to R and J contractors and it turned out to be the best referral for me, in my situation. Time and care was taken by the team at R and J, to understand my needs and also to explain the process of insurances and re-builds. The process itself was long and arduous, but not on the contractors side. Supply and demand for materials and workers was challenging at times, but R and J did a great job managing all of the issues out of their control. Anytime an issue came up, I was contacted and things were explained to me in a thoughtful and concise manner. I have a beautiful home now, better than before the fire, and for that I am grateful. I want to thank Rich, Kristi, Kevin, Dakota and Erika, for making a life changing, terrible situation into a blessing in disguise. R and J are a dedicated and hard-working company, that has the integrity to stand by their word. I would use them again for future needs.

  In December 2020 we had a house fire which left us with some structural damage and smoke and water damage throughout almost the entire house. R&J was able to help us through the repair and restoration process, and took extra time to deal with us even when we were frankly lost and a bit panicked by everything that needed to be done. They even helped us deal with a clean out service when the first one we choose ended up being a disaster! Everyone we dealt with at the company was excellent. Rich was calm and even keeled when we needed a steady hand to navigate supply chain delays and problems with the county, Kristi was organized and helped us with all the detail work (who knew there were a thousand choices for cabinet knobs and hinges?!) and Erika kept the paperwork and billing and scheduling in line and understandable. When we had questions, one of the three had answers readily available. As a nervous homeowner, I made probably too many visits to the house during repairs, and the work men there were always pleasant to deal with and willing to show me what was going on and answer questions about what they were doing. In the end, R&J spent extra time fixing up some minor details to make sure we were 100% satisfied with their work. I give them 5 stars and two thumbs up.
