On November 1, 2024 I use this company to serve documents and 3 attempts were made unsuccessful and emailed indicating they knock and no answer for several minutes. I was frustrated this company promise a good professional job. Then I file a dispute with my bank about the $193.91 to be returned. But the company sent me to collection which they added extra charges. Few days after I reach out to my wife if anyone knock on her door and I explained about the documents were never serve or showed up. She sent me videos through ******** messenger and the time and dates I gave her that they tried to serve and no one from the company serve any documents or showed up. I was lied to and took my money nothing was serve.

On Friday, November 1, 2024 complainant submitted an online order for routine service of process which includes three attempts to deliver legal document to the intended recipient. In the instance the recipient identified by the complainant was ******* ** ********** and the recipient's address provided was ************************************************* See attached and uploaded order and signed service agreement. Complainant signed and agreed to our terms and conditions which provide the following: 1.) We do not guarantee service will be successful.; 2.) Once a request has been made, service is deemed in effect and therefore billable. 3.) There are NO REFUNDS and payments made by credit card are non-refundable and uncontestable.; and 4.) There is a collection fee of 35% for a delinquent credit card charge or past due amount with accrued annual interest of 8%.  By signing the service agreement, complainant agreed to our terms and conditions and is therefore bound by those same terms and conditions. Routine service provides a first attempt within 3 days, in this case, there was a first attempt made on November 1, 2024, the very same day the order was submitted. A second and third unsuccessful attempt was made on November 2, 2024 and November 3, 2024. A Completed Affidavit of *********** was provided to the complainant on November 3, 2024 via email to the address provided when the order was submitted: *************************************************** See attached and uploaded documentation. This assignment was completed fully with three unsuccessful attempts which are documented on the affidavit of non-service. On November 3, 2024 complainant responded via email stating "Thanks for helping it clearly tell me she was hiding during the service attempts." See attached email chain. On November 13, 2024 after fully receiving the service that complainant contracted for, she decided to dispute her credit card charge with her financial institution. Pursuant to the signed service agreement, we assess a 35% collection fee and 8% interest for a delinquent credit card charge. The account was forwarded to collections for the principal amount, collection fees and interest as we are at a financial loss. The total amount due and owing pursuant to the service agreement signed by the complainant is $277.28. We will not be removing the account from collections. If the complainant wants the account removed from collections, I suggest that she pay the amount due and owing to the collection agency directly.

We stand by our previous response. We do not guarantee successful service and we do not issue refunds. The attempts were made and the service was completed. ****** submitted a credit card dispute and caused a financial loss to our business which is why the account was sent to collections. Pursuant to the service agreement, in the event of a deficient credit card charge we assess a collection fee and interest. Furthermore, we did respond to the credit card dispute and we are still at a loss financially. We will not be issuing a refund or removing the account from collections. Noteworthy, complainant also challenged the validity of the debt with the collection agency and the debt has been substantiated.

*** ****** of Judiciary Process Servers was hired by me to perform Skip ***** and Process Serving on a defendant in a legal case. The defendant resided in the State of Florida so the service was to be performed in *******. Mr. ****** informed us that service was unsuccessful so he issued me a notarized Affidavit of ************ After further inspection however, it was found that the notary used a non-compliant notary stamp that did not contain the actual person performing the notary's name or commission number. When I asked Mr. ****** via email to provide the name or contact information for the person that did the notary, he called me asking me why I am asking for this, said he performed the notary and "that's that", then hung up on me later claiming via email that I used profanity on the phone, which I did not. After doing a little further research on this, I found a slough of similar reviews on Yelp about ************ services(**************************************************************************************************) and found further discrepancies in the documentation that he provided to me that further supports the case that he is committing fraud. Judiciary Process Servers is falsifying legal documents and falsifying notary. I am requesting a full refund for the process serving that he falsified. His business should be shut down immediately and he should be prosecuted by authorities.

Complainant provided no information regarding his order or job number when submitting the complaint. On August 22, 2024 complainant submitted an order for routine service of process which includes three attempts to service legal documents and three attempts total. Complainant also selected in the order form that he wanted the affidavit notarized and mailed. On August 23, 2024, August 24, 2024, and August 26, 2024 unsuccessful attempts were completed. All of our service attempts are logged with GPS, date and timestamp information by the server. The attempts are notated on the completed and notarized affidavit of non-service sent to the complainant via the email address provided when the order was submitted and sent to the complaint via ****-Ground Advantage Tracking Number: 9400136208070793012066 which reflects that the completed affidavit of non-service was received and successfully delivered to the complainant. I have also uploaded a copy of the tracking from ****. The terms agreed to at the time the complainant submitted the order are that we 1.) do not guarantee successful service 2.) we do not provide refunds. The complaint signed stating that he agreed to our terms and condition. Complainant stated that I issued an affidavit, this is patently false and evidence by the completed affidavit. The server at the time of completion has the affidavit notarized in there area. We no not notarized affidavits, in fact we are not notaries. No one is "falsifying" any documents. More than likely, the court is not accepting the service as complete because the service attempts were unsuccessful. We have completed the assignment exactly how the complainant submitted the order in it's entirety. For these reasons, we will not be issuing any refund as service was fully performed.

I am rejecting this response because:

I paid Judiciary Process Servers to serve the defendant in my case, and to provide a notarized affidavit of non-service if the service was unsuccesful. The affidavit of non-service is fraudulently notarized, which Mr. ****** claims it is not. As a paralegal, Mr. ****** knows the rules of notary and if offering notary through his company, whether he does it himself or through subcontractors that he hires, he is responsible for ensuring his customers receive an actual notary.

In the attached affidavit, you will see the supposed signature of process server ***** ******** that allegedly performed the service. Note the difference in signature between the two affidavits. Note the Notary Public Stamp does not have the Notary's name or commission number on it which is required by law. Note that that you cannot read the notary's actual name on the signature; when I asked Mr. ****** for the name of the person that did the notary, he claimed that he didn't know because his server did it. When I asked him to ask his server ***** ******** to find out the name of the person that did the notary, he refused, then ultimately hung up on me. The unfortunate fact of the matter here is that it is likely Mr. ***** ******** does not exist, attempts for service were not actually ever made, and the notary is fraudulent which we already know evidenced by the stamp and improper notary procedure.

Regarding the *** Date and Time Stamp that Mr. ****** alleges that the server uses- See the attached screen shot from the email with that information. It's merely text in the body of an email; it isn't a photograph or any other substantial proof that a server was at that location.

    Sincerely,

    ***** *********

We stand by our previous response. We provide three attempts and do not guarantee successful service, nor do we provide refunds. This is stated in the service agreement signed by the complainant and previously provided in the initial response. This particular assignment resulted in three unsuccessful service attempts. I disagree with the complainant's assertion that "Mr. ****** knows the rules of notary." I am not a notary myself. Not that I need to educate the complainant but many states do not have notary commission numbers or registration numbers. The complainant's assertions are bald and backed with nothing more than his opinion. GPS Coordinates are not photographs but rather a numerical representation of the longitude and latitude from where the service attempt took place. The complainant did not contract with us to provide photographs and photographs are not advertised in any of our marketing materials in print or digitally.

I am rejecting this response because:

If Judiciary Process Servers is going to offer a service providing a notarized document, Judiciary Process Servers should know the law regarding Notary, and warrant that a proper notary is conducted. This notary is fraudulent, Judiciary Process Servers was paid to provide a notarized document and they did not do that.

Every single state in the *** has notary laws and requirements, and every single state requires that the individual performing the notary has their name in the stamp. The State of Florida requires a notary stamp to have the notary's name, commission number, and commission expiration. Look at the stamp in the attached affidavit, there's no name, no state, and no commission number. The entire purpose of a notary is so that a qualified and accredited individual can witness signing of documents to guarantee the authenticity and prevent fraud, and the person performing the notary can be held accountable if the protocols are not followed. In this case, we can't even determine who the person that allegedly performed the notary is because the person did not follow notary law, and *** ****** claims to be unable to find out who did it. You'd think a simple call to "***** ********" to ask who he used to notarize this document less than 2 months ago would have been easy enough for him, but the likely scenario is that ***** ******** doesn't exist, as we already know the notarized affidavit is fraudulent.

    Sincerely,

The notary they provided is fraudulent. It isnt even a disagreement, it doesnt follow simple notary rules and is fraudulent. Judiciary Process Servers sold me notary services, charged me for a notary, and did not provide the notary.

This company was sourced to serve paperwork for a protective order. They claimed to have made attempts; however, none were made. Emails continued stating 'knocked for several minutes' and nobody answered. The days and times these emails were alluding to were all days and times we were home with a direct line of sight. There was no one present doing making these attempts. When the company was contacted for help or guidance with the situation, the owner was dismissive, rude, and completely unwilling to even acknowledge the circumstances. After charging $372.40 up front for this service, and dealing with a situation requiring a protective order, this is not the way a business owner should respond to customers seeking help. This resulted in a court date being cancelled and rescheduled to another date, further impacting us taking time off work to ensure the safety of our family. This business exploits customers who are in high-stakes situations and causes further harm and damage to individuals attempting to utilize the justice system.

First, ***** **** is not a customer who has submitted an order for service. However, we do have an order under that receipt number tied to an order placed by ********** ****. ********** **** submitted an online order via our online order form for ***************** of process which includes three attempts with a first attempt within 48 hours. This client indicated in the online order for that if the three attempts were unsuccessful, they selected that they wanted the documents to be posted at the address. The client also selected that they wanted the affidavit to be notarized and submitted to the court. Please see the attached order form submitted. The client when submitting his order signed our service agreement (attached) which specifically states that we do not guarantee successful service and we do not provide refunds. The order was submitted on July 31, 2024 at 1:03pm. On July 31, 2024 a first attempt was made at 8:26pm which was unsuccessful. On August 1, 2024 at 1:54pm a second unsuccessful attempt was made. On August 3, 2024 at 8:12am a final unsuccessful attempt was made and the documents were posted at the address on August 3, 2024 at 8:18am per the client's selection in the online order form. On August 5, 2024 at 11:20am a completed affidavit of posting was sent to the client via email at the email address provided in the online order form: ********************************. See attached. On August 5, 2024 at 11:23am the completed court submission package was sent to the court via *****Ground Advantage Tracking Number: 9400136208070626153591 which the **** website reflects that the court submission package was successfully delivered on August 10, 2024 at 10:57am. Please see the attached emailed copy of the court submission package and *****Tracking Information. We completed the order fully based on the way the order was submitted. The documents were posted on the final attempt completing the assignment. We will not be providing a refund for services rendered.

I am rejecting this response because once again, your company claims to have left documents at this address and claims these attempts were made- but there is no way the person left documents at this address as access to the house wasn't able to be achieved. The gate to the property was chained and padlocked with a barbed wire wrap on the top of the gate. I reject the claim that your person completed this task.

I am rejecting this response because when you said your company completed what was paid for, my husband went to the court date. Nobody had shown up to serve the individual, but we had faith in what you said your company did. The judge there let him know there was no record of the individual being served, and rescheduled. She then ordered her sheriffs to serve the individual and that was successful in two counties over! The sheriffs were successful in another county on a moving target when your company couldn't get it done while he sat in his home, because it was padlocked shut- with barbed wire fence on top.

Now, another day off work for another court date- but it's finally working out, no thanks to you or your company. I find your business practices prey on those vulnerable while you sit, states away, creating false documents claiming your service did a task that literally nobody else can see or prove. You profit off others' terrible situations and rather than provide safety and security in what is asked, you compound issues for those in need.

    Sincerely,

    ***** ****

In sum: Judiciary Process Servers served the wrong person on 2/16/23, a date the person to be served was not in the state of Maryland. I had to use a second processor and in less than 24 hours the correct person was served. I request an apology for the reprehensible, rude, insulting communication and a refund for the Feb 15, 2023 transaction receipt #1******** in the amount of $189.90. I paid for expedited service and indicated the specific date, Friday, 2/17/23, and time the person to be served would be at the location, my son’s daycare, picking up my son at the end of the day. On Thursday, 2/16/23 at 9:34 am I received an email indicating the defendant was served. The person to be served was not in Maryland at that time, he was at work. I also uploaded a picture of the person on the online form when I booked the service. I called to ask who the documents were served to and asked what could be done to rectify this error but there was a complete unwillingness to look into the matter or to consider the possibility that the wrong person was served. Instead an emphatic defensive reply was that the job was done, the person was served and no refunds. I continued to explain that the person was not in the state and was met with, “how do you know?”. I expressed I felt Joe was gaslighting me and received an uncalled for personal insult, “do you even know what gaslighting means?” adding insult to injury for an already stressful matter. My confidential documents are floating around with a stranger that has been wrongly served. I then had to rush and find another process server due to a quickly approaching deadline. In conclusion, the unprofessional, apathetic conduct and lackadaisical practice is unacceptable. Further, the unwillingness to listen or problem solve with a client is saddening. More than the money it is about the complete lack of respect for me as a person. I trusted this company with something very confidential and sensitive and felt completely *******.

We apologize that the customer feels this way. The correct person was served and is evidenced by the attached service information and affidavit of service. The affidavit of service was also filed with the court and the court stamped copy is attached hereto. In the service agreement signed by the customer at the time of submission (attached hereto) she signed stating that she understood that service is not guaranteed. In this instance, service was completed. The signed order form submitted by the customer also states that there are no refunds. The customer signed stating that she agreed to those terms. The customers documents are not floating around as she claims but rather they were served on the same individual for which she provided a photo of. For these reasons, we will not be issuing a refund as requested.

The documents were never served to the wrong person, this is indicated in the affidavit of service whereby the recipient confirmed his identity at the time of service. The person served and the person in the photo provided by the customer were one and the same.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: 1) failure to accept that they served the wrong person. Mr. *****, the person to be served, was at work in Washington, DC. The location Mr. ***** was to be served at on Friday late afternoon was a daycare. A stranger was served on Thursday morning in the 9 O'clock hour at the daycare. Mr. ***** was not at the daycare at that time for I would have been notified by the daycare. 2) failure to offer a solution. 3) Horrendous customer service and failure to apologize for the uncalled for insulting comment. Again, more than the money it is about the complete lack of respect to me as a customer and as a person.

    Sincerely,

    ***** *******
