      We payed ***** Walker, owner of Walker Enterprise, $50,000 to renovate our home August - November 2021. This is the first home and renovations we've purchased and didn't know at the time a lot of what ***** asked of us was unusual. For example, he charged us a flat fee for materials and labor and didn't provide us with receipts for either. We also paid him several weeks of overtime so we could move into the home before I went into labor and he still didn't finish the work on time. We've been in the house a year now and several issues have arisen. Some illustrative issues include not being able to find record of the kitchen countertop purchase order ***** claimed to have made through ********** when we've needed to replace materials due to improper installation and several plumbing issues, where the plumbers advised that the person who installed the items "didn't know anything about plumbing" and installed several items incorrectly. We've had expensive repairs to the work ***** has done and continue to see damage in our home due to improper installation of goods and hardware. The plumber, **********, and other vendors advised us to contact BBB due to the irregularities of the repairs needed in our home. I've raised these issues to ***** by text message and asked for details on what/where he made purchases but he hasn't provided the information requested. We'd like your help to seek repairs and refunds for the damage done to our house. Only now do I understand we've been taken advantage of. I'd like recourse and to ensure ***** doesn't take advantage of others in the future. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you.
