    I'm in the process of selling my home and wanted to improve the look of my deck. A sellsman came to my house and showed me beautiful pictures of a deck. So April 2024 I paid roughly ****** for this "incredible" deck promised. One month later the paint is chipping, something white is showing between each plank and I have paint on my patio door. It looks like a job my kids could have done. I have called ********** and text and emailed pictures. No response yet. I have a 10 year warranty. So I'm hoping someone will resolve this soon. I have a home to sell.

    Dear Mrs **************** sent the pictures in on 6/3/24. It has not been 24hrs. Why are you complianing over wood shrinkage? The deck will be fixed.

    Furthermore its calling for rain tomorrow. We will get deck squared away Thursday or Friday weather depending. It has ****** 7 of 10 weeks this season.

    Don't involved the bbb over touch up. Just ask to talk to a manager first please!

    I am unable to accept or reject the repairs. Theirs no offer at this time, due to the business inability to provide a deck repair person . The one assigned did not show up today Friday. I was told at 6pm that he had a family emergency.

    Initial contact thru the internet, but we changed our mine, they call us 2 or 3 times a ******'s been months of the same message almost every day. I don't not want your service and now never will as this is boarder line harassment. I am tired of deleting your phone calls from my machine. MAKE IT STOP

    2nd complaint. Loose Rail Boards (29) & Nails from side frame of floor pulling away. May 24 & 25, 2023, reached out to company. Called several numbers, lft my call back. No call back. Emailed company on May 25, 2023. The following attachments are my communication with Deck Ready. Also,attached a communication with a neighbor on NEXTDOOR's website, who has similar experience. My deck is unsafe at this time Project done in July, 2018. My 1st complaint filed with BBB was in July, 2019. Case ******** (Ref# **-90273643-********-3-210) for defective, untreated wood board which was not rectified correctly until May, 2021. I did reach out to ***** from their *********************** back in 2021 at *************) on May *******. He stated he does not work for Deck Ready any longer. He told me "Good Luck" . This is so frustrating. Bad business practice. I am emotionally & mentally drained and overwhelmed by this business. Please help.******* ******, *************************************************, ************, ********************

    The only warranty is of the two documents from July 2018 and yellow. The warranty explanation is handwritten on page 2. There is no other warranty

    Our warranty has one year labor. We are more then happy to provide you with stain if needed.

    Wood expands and contracts with water and humidity. Naturally nails even screws can move outside. 

    There will be a cost to fix the current issues.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. What will the labor cost be to fix the loose rails & nails? I do not want to be taken advantage of by Deck Ready because I made this complaint.

    I signed a contract with Deck Ready on 6/10/2019 and had a 10 year guarantee. My deck was suppose to look like new and the deck is peeling and looks awful. I called Deck Ready many times in the last 2 months and spoke to Christina and she was to send stain to refinish the deck myself. I have not received anything from them and they do not call me back when I leave a message.

    I had a new deck installed by Deck Ready on 8/10/22. The deck was partly built on an exiting concrete slab and also partly on soil. When the footers were dug out on the concrete. I asked the contractor to place the left over soil in the grass covered area where the deck skirt would cover the soil. My reason for telling them to do this is. The concrete slab is on a downward grade. The result from not removing the dirt is. Every time is rains the mud washes out on to the remaining slab.It is a muddy mess. I asked the contractor to leave the left over material. As in the 6x6 off fall. The contractor, took the off fall, PVC material, two pieces of lattice. They did leave a 4x4 that was warped and with about 60% wane. Amongst other warped material. The nails that were used to fasten the PVC skirt around the deck were not galvanized. The heads are rested and I now have rust streaks running down the PVC boards. Deck Ready asked me to email them pictures in which I did. All communication has been cut off. Deck Ready will not return my phone calls or emails.

    We reached out to the client. Our staff will go and check the property.

    The materials were never for the client to keep. Our ordering team always has some extra on site. Dirt coming out of a hole is not a Deck ready issue. Howerver we will concrete over the footers. This deck passsed all inspections and recieved final inspection.

    I am rejecting this response because: I except Deck Ready response in regard to the material's. Again, the reason the mud is running from under the deck is the excess soil wasn't placed in the grass area under the deck.  There Is no mention of the rusted nail or the rust streaks in the PVC. If the matter in regard to the PVC is addressed. I will except.

    I had my deck done a couple of years ago and now the paint is peeling a year later. I cannot get a hold of the company because I have a 10 year warranty. I need for them repair this problem. I get full sunny on my deck. The company was in Aberdeen, Md not Reisterstown, Md. Since Deck Ready has another location I would like for them to honor my warranty or refund my money for a bad job. I'm a senior citizen and not a millionaire. The product they used should have been stain not paint because of the full sun. Can you help me.
