    I am a patient at the pain and spine specialist of plesant hills ************. I had a routine drug screen and the lab that tested my urine on March 29, 2023 and April 26, 2023. They reported having metabolites of ******* and Morphine in my system. This was 100% a false positive due to eating everything bagel containing poppy seeds. I eat this pretty regularly. As a result of this drug screen done by Real Diagnostics Lab, I was discharged as a patient from my pain doctors office and cannot return. I would like the lab to recognize that poppy seeds can cause false positives drug screens for ******* and Morphine or both as researchers indicate and to submit that documentation in writing to myself and my physician at the pain and spine specialists of plesant hills so that I can be reinstated as a patient. I did not and do not consume or abuse any drugs, illegal or recreational as indicated except for my prescription medication which I take as prescribed. I have made several attempts to contact this lab to rectify this matter. I was also never provided a copy of these tests indicating their findings.

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.  Due to patient data privacy, we are not able to share the exact findings of this patients urine drug screen with the BBB. Real Diagnostics spoke with this patient several times regarding her concerns.  Additionally, we spoke directly with Pain and Spine Specialists, the medical provider that ordered the drug screens, and reviewed this patients results with them in detail.  Real Diagnostics does not provide medical advice or make any treatment recommendations to medical providers based on our findings we strictly report our clinical results.  It is the role of the medical provider who ordered the test to interpret that data and make decisions for care and treatment.  To reiterate - Real Diagnostics only provides the clinical data; Pain and Spine Specialists makes all patient treatment decisions based on their medical expertise as doctors, including the interpretation of our findings of morphine and *******, as the patient disclosed in her complaint.     I am rejecting this response because: i only spoke with real diagnostics ******** one time.  They indicated they spoke to me several times which is a lie. I'm requesting a copy of my test be sent to me via email at *********************************
