      I made an appointment, waited, and took my ****** in to DARCARS Collision Center of Rockville, MD. for some repair work around my right fog lamp. I dropped it off at the agreed upon time on 7/7/2024 for what my insurance company told me would be a two day job. DARCARS Collision Center of Rockville told me that they had acquired all the necessary parts before the repair began. On 2/8/2024, I received a text that said the estimated completion date was now 2/15/2024, quite a bit longer than expected. I received text messages every day that they were open telling me that they were on track to deliver my car to me on 2/15/2024. Even on 2/15/2024 I received a text saying they were nearing completion and if they encounter any delays they'll call. Fair enough.Like reviewers have said repeatedly at other sites like carwise.com, they simply cut off all communication at that point.The afternoon of 2/15/2024, I called and asked if my car was ready and they said the only one that could answer that question was the manager. They didn't know where he was. I said I had make a decision as to whether I should to return my rental car. They said the manager would call me back in ************************************************************** he'll call you back in 20 minutes. Nothing! No contact. Totally MIA!Luckily I managed to extend my rental car. My insurance company has previously dealt with DARCARS Collision Center of Rockville. They apparently have even less faith in them than I did. They extended my rental until March 4th.We've repeated the same ridiculous and wholly unprofessional dance with DARCARS Collision Center of Rockville over the past two days. I call and nobody can tell me what has happened to my car. They promise the manager will call me back but they never ever do.I should have read the reviews on CARWISE! Apparently they do this a lot!Up until now, I was a repeat customer. I bought the car at ********************** ******. I've had it serviced there. Now at DARCARS Collision Center of Rockville all I can imagine is a couple of Neanderthals with hammers hitting my car who don't understand what that periodic ringing sound is. (Hint) It's the phone.The text messages all contained the following:www.carwise.com/e/4DYvYF If you look, you'll see the expected pickup as: Yesterday 4 PM How do I get my car back?       Dear Customer Service Representative, I would like to express my concern about the collision repair service (hood & bumper) offered on May 15, 2023, to my vehicle *****. During a wash/wax service given to the vehicle by my brother, it was noted that the front of the top looks dimmed and not shinny as the rest of the area. It appears that some paint was sprayed by accident to the top during repair, making the color to look uneven. Unfortunately, this paint issue was not present prior to take the vehicle for service. By the beginning of August 2023, I visited the shop to have a further discussion about this issue, with the bodyshop customer advisor assigned to my car/case *** ***** *******, however he was out on vacation. Furthermore, on August 16, 2023, a second attempt was made by email to contact *** ***** *******, without any success. Unfortunately, a response has not been received yet. Considering, that this is a labor issue performed during the repair service offered to my car, I would like to request Darcars Collision Center to fix it.
