Despite getting a knock on my door when having a no solicitation sign, I talked to the salesman because I was interested in a sliding glass door quote. The salesman asked me several times about my husbands availability but I informed him everytime that I am the sole homeowner, decision maker, and person paying. He finally agreed to schedule an appointment on for a Free, No Obligation Estimate, Guaranteed, to which I then had to confirm on the phone. The person on the phone then asked again about my husband twice, to which I again informed them I am not able to confirm his availability but I am the sole homeowner, financier, and decision maker. The person on the phone then stated out of respect for my husband all decision makers had to be available. Given this was the 5th or 6th time in the entire process I had to explain, I am the sole decision maker, I asked the salesman to leave my property and hung up the phone call. It is quite offensive that I was not allowed, as a women, to schedule a simple quote for my own home.

I apologize that you were put off and/or upset with our policies and procedures here at Presidential Exteriors as it pertains to estimate scheduling. With that being said, we stand behind our policy of having all owners of the property involved in the estimating process. There are several reasons for this policy:1) Having all parties available for the estimate ensures that everyone gets their questions answered as efficiently as possible. Depending on the scope of the project, there are a lot of different material options, style options, and other miscellaneous details that is much easier to iron out the first go-around. If a husband ordered an "oyster gray" roof and the wife told him to order "pewter gray", that can cost us thousands of dollars. Communication is extremely important in home remodeling, and we find that our communication is at it's best when we can communicate with all decision makers.2) It protects the company from liability. We've had instances in the past where a middle aged son claimed to be the owner of a home, and we didn't find out that the mother owned the home until after we'd spent thousands of dollars on materials. We've had instances where husbands signed contracts only for a wife to call in a week later FURIOUS that he had committed to doing a roof that she knew nothing about. It makes everything smooth, and everything safe, if everyone that SHOULD be involved in the estimating process is involved in the process. This doesn't just go for husbands and wives, we also ask for "decision makers" to be present because we periodically have people asking for estimates that don't own the home: Renters that won't even be paying for the work... persons living in a "family home" that don't actually have any authority to make changes to the property etc.3) We want to have a fair shot of winning your business. If you interview 3 companies to get bids on a project, and you, your husband, your friends, your neighbors are present for two of those estimates (not because you feel that you need any assistance, just because the scheduling happened to be convenient) but arent present for our estimate our chances of winning that job drop to near 0%. Why? Because even if you loved us, our product, and our price, when you discuss the project with your husband, children, friends, or neighbors, they are going to suggest the company that they witnessed and preferred. Even if our price and materials seemed so much better that you decided you really wanted to contract with us, chances are very high that our estimator would have to come back out and discuss all of the same information again with any other decision makers, because they are going to have questions or concerns of their own. This has nothing at all to do with gender. As a matter of fact, it is more frequently men who are determined that they are the man of the house and dont need the wife there that get upset over this policy. We stand behind it just as firmly with those gentlemen. We dont discriminate in any fashion. We dont care if youre male or female, black or white, young or old it is our obligation to ensure that we protect both the homeowners and ourselves by ensuring that everyone that should be involved, is involved.

I had scheduled an appointment on 11/28 @ 1pm for a Free, No Obligation Estimate, Guaranteed (advertised in their flyer). I informed the scheduler on the phone that I was only looking for an estimate and that my sidings are in great shape but they still scheduled.

When the professional arrived the next day, he took pictures and we spoke about 30 minutes. I informed him that I am not looking to replace the siding now but only to get an estimate. Once he heard that, he BS his way out saying that I will email you the estimate in an hour but I didn’t receive any information or any estimate. I think that this is false advertising that you get a Free, No Obligation Estimate, Guaranteed (advertising by Presidential Exteriors Flyer) and get no estimate when I scheduled for that exact request. I believe this is a poor tactic to get someone in the house and try to “pressure” into purchasing when something is not needed or ready for that expense. The company is welcome to call me and reach out to me because you have my information.

I have been scammed by this company. I have video where they were gangsters, doing a drive by drop off of windows that dont even fit and now they want to serve me with court papers for me to give away $15K for windows that all were not delivered, dont fit and were never installed. They told me they went thru some changes with the company and could offer me a better deal with the new sale. if course it sounded good but what seemed to happen in my situation is an employee that once worked for another company must have taken sales information from that
company and started working for them. So they went around saying they could give a better price than the old one. Since the guy seemed to know that I did get a previous quote, I believed it was a company that went through a name change and now represented under a new company name. Now they expect me to pay them for a contract they breached when they are the ones that never installed the windows and coming to me a year later to drop off windows, blocking my camera and garage not allowing me to go to work until I could get them moved from in front of my garage door and damaging my camera that captured the footage. So watch out for scammers who want you to pay them for windows that dont fit, dont deliver all that you order then sit them on your parking pad for someone else to install them while they sue you for the entire amount. They have poor customer service and they lied to the Office of the attorney general office when you file a complaint against them. Its called lack of integrity and professionalism. They need to be trained on how to fulfill their contracts COMPLETELY and not expect people to pay for a service never rendered. Karma is real and one day I can see a class action law suit coming for them due to the amount of scamming they participate in because people do go to jailed for organized crime. Only time will tell.

      Perfectly Professional!

Presidential Exteriors helped us with several projects in 2020, and they were all DREAM TEAMS! One day the roofing demo team, next day the roof installation, another day window installation, another day portico repair! No fuss, no muss! There was minimal disruption to the neighborhood, no long-term problems with trucks coming and going and parking in the neighborhood. (Some other contractors dilly dally and cause long-term disruption, not Presidential!) Their craftsmanship still looks flawless after a few years! They were perfectly professional, and we greatly appreciate their good work!

Daniel A***** came out to give me a quote on my 15year roof. Was able to find all the issues from exterior as well as get on the roof to take video of problem areas. He recorded inside my attic to show me where leaks were. Not only did he give me a heck of a deal. He also made sure to call the other company who I purchased windows with to get my warranty started. Also went above and beyond with my recycling can that was broken and got townhall to send replacement. He was very professional and explained everything very simple to understand. I look forward to my new roof and can’t express how happy I am with the process. Thank you presidential exteriors for 5stars all around.

Door-to-door salesman knocked and told me they would do a free siding inspection since they were in the area. Inspector showed up and claimed my siding was damaged and the wood underneath was rotting, but that he wouldn't be able to confirm it without removing the siding. Then spent over an hour trying to pressure me to replace the entire siding of my house. I had a different contractor give me a second opinion, and he claimed my siding was fine and the "damage" was just required cuts for the installation of new windows.
In summary, my siding was fine, and this company is a scam comprised of unethical salespeople trying to rip you off.

LOL. You scheduled a siding estimate, and think we're a "scam company" because Kevin told you that this doesn't look good and should be replaced?
*********************************************************************************** ********************************************************************************** Sorry, not sorry. We're 100% on Kevin's side here. Good luck with your project.

My wife and I have used Presidential Exteriors for three separate projects now over the last two years. First we replaced the siding on our home, then added a solid French door for our carport shed and then we had them back out for attic insulation, which was completed Nov 29th.
What can I say about this company? Nothing but good things. From the initial contact, to the remodeling expert that came out, their call center and operations team and installation, the never missed a beat. Everything was completed in a timely manner with some of the best customer service I've ever experienced.
We have already recommended this company to several of our neighbors who have also gotten work done by Presidential. Truthfully, I have never been able to voice such full-throated support for a company such as I have with Presidential Exteriors, we've just been absolutely blown away with every single employee we've engaged with. We have another project on the horizon and will definitely be keeping this company in mind when the time comes and I will continue to recommend them to our neighbors, I get excited when I see their trucks throughout our neighborhood.
Also, to be clear, Presidential Exteriors was not even our first quote. We received multiple estimates from Power Home Remodeling, MLM, Thompson Creek, all the major companies in our area, for each of these projects for the sake of due diligence, but Presidential Exteriors blew them out of the water each and every time. In retrospect, the other estimates were a waste of our time and we will only be seeking estimate from PE for the remainder of our exterior projects.
Thanks to everyone at Presidential Exteriors!

Would never work or associate with Presidental Exteriors. The company is racist. The person who interviewed me was very disrespectful from the tone to the remarks that were made. I do not appreciate being asked if I was from DC then proceeds to ask if I was from SE SW. All black people do not live in SW or SE. Learn how to speak to other races besides just white people. You all are not the only race on earth. I hope you all hire a white person for the job to complete the ignorance in that office.
