    I sent my manual paper cutting machine blade in to be sharpened by Whitaker Brothers on 6/28/23. After 2 weeks with no communication, I reached out for an update on 7/14. I was told there was a delay in the turnaround due to the July 4th holiday and my blade would be back from sharpening on 7/17. On 7/20, I sent another email asking for a tracking number for the blade shipment back to me. Was emailed back same day and said “no, but I should have it by now. I’ll check”. On 7/24, I reached back out asking for a tracking number. I was called and given a number over the phone. After receiving the blade, myself, the blade rep and several others have tried to install it back on the machine, but there is one corner that will not fit properly. I contacted Whitaker Brothers to ask if they mistakenly sent the incorrect blade. I sent my blade back to them for review. They sent me a picture of a stock blade they had with another picture of “my” blade for comparison. The corners of the blades on the side that will not fit are clearly different, but the company rep is adamant that it’s the correct blade. They outsource their blade sharpening service, so there is no way to actually verify the outsourced company didn’t have a mix up. I DO NOT recommend this company for servicing anything.
