In April I brought my car to the Jiffy Lube location at [******************************************] for a routine oil change. My car was not leaking oil prior to the service, but immediately afterward, it began leaking heavily from the gasket between the engine and transmission.I returned to the location to report the issue, and the employee told me it wasnt their problem and that theres nothing they can do about it. This is completely unacceptable. The leak started directly after they worked on my car, and they have refused to take accountability or offer a solution.I am a single mother, and this vehicle is my only means of transportation. Being left with a potentially serious leak that Jiffy Lube may have caused has put me under intense financial and emotional stress.Ive been told that a rear main seal repair can cost anywhere from $1000 to $1,500, mostly due to labor, and I cannot afford to pay for something I believe was caused by their negligence. I am formally requesting a full investigation and that Jiffy Lube either fix the damage or cover the cost of proper repairs. I trusted them with my car, and I should not be the one paying for a mistake I did not make.

I took my ******* Sonata to Jiffy Lube store #*** in *********, ** for an oil change on 7/10/2024. The manager suggested a coolant flush based on ******* factory recommendations. I agreed. The next day the car overheated. I took it back to Jiffy Lube on 7/12/2024 the manager stated there were some left over air bubbles in the coolant and the car should be fine. Soon after I left it overheated again. At that point I took it to the dealer. The dealer stated the thermostat was damaged and had to be replaced. The thermostat was working fine before Jiffy Lube worked on my car. The car had NEVER overheated before. I spent $326.60 at Jiffy Lube and $628.15 at ********** *******. I am asking for a full refund for my visit to Jiffy Lube on 7/10 and full reimbursement for my costs at the dealer to fix the problem. I have been a Jiffy Lube customer for 30 plus years and this situation is unacceptable. I don't have the Jiffy Lube invoice but it is in their system. I wasn't expecting to need it.

On October 29, 2022, I brought in my 2017 ***** **** for servicing. This location is the only place I have ever had the car serviced. 3 weeks later, the car died and the ***** dealership said it needed a new engine that would cost $10,000, blaming the problem on previous servicing. I reached out to Jiffy Lube and sent them the diagnosis but they said that wasn't evidence they were at fault. The car is only 5 years old and has 94,000. Please help. Thank you.***********************

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because the insurance company said Jiffy Lube is not responsible in any way for a 5 year old car engine that needed to be replaced just a few weeks after being serviced at Jiffy Lube.
