I have tried NUMEROUS times to get help with these carpets in this order. First, the color is off! They dont look how they look on the website. Secondly, the shedding is annoying!!! I made you all aware of this within a week of these being delivered, I was denied help and told to spend more money to get a coupon! You all are trying to say that these are custom ordered, how is that?? There was nothing custom about these car mats, I chose my car and a generic color from your site! That is absurd!!! I would like my money back. These are horrible quality and customers should be offered more than just a 10% coupon off next order. I would like my money back!#*******Initial Complaint

I made a purchase from this company and 1 of the 2 rugs was the wrong color. I have sent several emails and made a phone call. Only one response from ***** ****** American Floor Mats ************ ************ (fax)****************************** he responded to send pictures and I did right away. Still nothing. I called and they said they process right away. Nothing again. All I need is a replacement. Very aggravating.Initial Complaint

American floor mats is committing fraudulent activities against their customers. If you place an order with them, they ship your item to a fictitious location where I can only assume they are recycling these items and selling them again. I have filed a formal complaint with American Express in ****** of these practices and have proof that hundreds of customers have been impacted by their fraudulent tactics.Initial Complaint

This mat is super hard rubber, it has no backing to it, the sponge is torn and exposed ,the back of the mat is rough and there is no description fulfillment with this anti-fatigue floor mat. I have attempted to reach out more than a few times via email and now the phone says I cannot get through the ivr due to inaccurate information when I click star for a directory based on names. I have reached out to **** ****** and all he does is keep requesting more information. At this point I just want a refund.Initial Complaint

What they are doing should be illegal. Total misleading. I ordered workout tiles from this website. I checked multiple product pages as I was deciding which product to use and nowhere on the page does it ever explain they do not accept refunds. As you go through the entire checkout flow, there is still nothing that says they do not accept refunds. I ordered the wrong size tile, so reached out and asked to return an unopened box and they said no. Even after I ordered the correct size. Nothing on their website explains their refund/return policy. After going back and forth with them they said it in their Terms and Conditions which is incredibly hard to find. This seems illegal to me. Totally misleading and deceptive business practice. There was never a clear place on the product page that explained this.Initial Complaint

I purchased carpet floor mats from the company under the impression that I was getting 3 pieces in my order (that is what the picture showed, not two). I called the company ********** my concern they stated that they do not give refunds. I felt that information was not posted in any communication when I processed the order. On that call the representative stated that this was in there "Terms" agreement, printed extremely small at the bottom of the contact page. I feel the entire process was misleading because that important detail should have a had a broader scope/placement on their webpage.Initial Complaint

I informed them of the complaint being filed on 5 Nov., and I received an email on 7 Nov. stating that my "replacement product should be shipping out ASAP".Customer Answer

It took 3 weeks from the time of the complaint, 16 Oct, to get a positive response from them. I was told on 5 Nov that they "should be shipping out ASAP". There was no more response until 21 Nov when I was informed that a tracking number would be provided to me. I never received any tracking info. On the 25th of Nov *** showed up with the products and labels to return the original shipment. I was not made aware of that either. I only say to that emphasize their gross lack of communication.
After multiple gaps in communication on their side, I now finally have the correct products. I understand that mistakes can happen, but how you handle them determines if a customer will buy from you again. It's a no for me.

Company advertises a price match guarantee to match a competitor's price or give you 110% of the difference. When I submitted my claim, I was told that not only does the product have to be identical, but the warranty terms have to be identical as well. This is not mentioned anywhere in the terms and conditions of the price match guarantee. Additionally, I was told that the end profile of the mat has to be identical along with the weight limit. Since a straight edge can be requested for the American Floor Mat, the end profile is identical to the Amazon mat. The weight limit of the American Floor Mat is not advertised anywhere, therefore they cannot suddenly make up a weight limit and add this as a product feature to be matched. After these 3 excuses did not work for denying my claim, they then told me that the "nubs" on the bottom of the mat have to be identical. Long story short, what this company is requiring for a product to be considered identical for the price match guarantee is absolutely crazy. There is no possible way for another company to make a floor mat that is this identical to fulfill their unrealistic expectations. Their whole Price Match Guarantee is just a marketing scam to try and convince customers that they are getting a deal. Their website even says "we want to earn your business," but all that I was offered as compensation was 10% off, which anyone can get if they sign up for emails. At the end of the day, I am the lead ME Manager for the largest employer in central ********* with over 33 facilities. If this company would have dealt with me fairly, there is a good chance that all of our ergo mats would have been ordered from them in the future. Now I am taking my personal business and my company's business elsewhere. I hope that the $100 off that I was requesting was worth it!!! This is false advertising at its finest!!!
