  Victor and Berlyn wrapped and packaged breakable objects that were important to my mother. They did a thoroughly professional job. Everything was done well. Nothing was chipped or broken. When they realized she was in ill health, they treated her as though she were their grandmother. Thank you so much for the professionalism and kindness of these two men.

  Terrible moving experience with Artisian. Many pieces of furniture were VERY damaged and the workers knew it and hid the pieces until after final payment. I do not believe the previous reviews at all! Stay away!

  I truly am sorry that some of your items sustained damage during your move. As I'm sure and hope you can believe, it's never our intention to damage customer items while in transit. As a moving company, we move hundreds of thousands of pieces of furniture in and out of homes every year and stack them into trucks nearly 7 days a week. It’s impossible to not from time to time have items sustain damage. You won’t’ find a single moving company on this planet that has not damaged items during a move. We are no different, but I can say with certainty our claims ratio is below the industry standard. This is also why the Department of Transportation requires each moving company to offer complimentary coverage of $0.60 cents per lb. on each customer’s move. We also provide added valuation options at an additional cost which provides more coverage on your household goods in the event of damage. Again, I’m truly sorry we did damage some of your items during your move, but we have not received your returned claim form. Please reach out to us to see how we can help further with your items.   Artisan Movers are the best movers in the Maryland, Virginia, DC area. The price was amazing way less then their competitors. The movers were fast, friendly and had a the nesscary tools to move everything. Even and had giant box and wardrobe box to move our bags of clothes. The wardrobe box and other tool like plastic wrap and blanket covers was included in the move to help keep price down. The owner Marc I spoke on the was very professional and was upfront about everything. The movers did arrive 15 mins earlier which was great. I will be using this company in the future. Lastly there was no hidden fees at all.

  Exceptional service!!! Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Top shelf all the way around. Luis did an incredible job managing the job, the crew, and the logistics. That was important as we had a slight hiccup at settlement. I highly recommend Artisan Movers, you will not regret it.

  They did a great job! They were careful with my breakable things. They moved everything exactly where I asked them to move them. They unpacked the items that I requested that they unpack. I would use them again.

  We had an easy, efficient move that could have been a real pain. The team worked incredibly quickly, was careful with our belongings, and was extremely pleasant the entire day despite some seriously hot temps and a number of steps. I would 100% recommend using Artisan Movers for your next move!
