These office provider was the one I chose to take care of my pregnancy. Everything went fine until my insurance got canceled due to a clerical error from ******** and ****** ********** side. However the office decided to sent my bill to collection even though I communicated with them constantly about the effort I was making to take care of the bill. ******** confirmed that even though my *** was suspended the ******** converage was remaining active for my health services I was indicated to provide them my ******** information so the office can collect payment directly from them. After making efforts to deliver the instructions due to very strict policies from ******** that only the medical provider can seek payment the office manager refused to reach out to them and indiscriminately decided to keep my account on collection knowing I had coverage that would cover the payment. I keep receiving mail attempting to collect this debt knowing that the administrator of this office didnt pursue to reach out to medican they just want me to come with a expense out of the pocket when the whole pregnancy was taken care of by my insurance. In just a few words they only want to rip your insurance money but dont want to deal with the administrative perks of working with the state

The accusations stated by our patient are false. The patient continue to give our office staff insurance plan information, stating it was active and to refile on multiple occasions, but the insurance/s were always inactive. After multiple billings on June 8th, June 13th and Oct 9th, that were all declined, she stated that she was trying to get other insurance, and have them back bill her services. I explanined that insurance do not pay past services, only moving forward, after they become eligible. I explained that ****** (our practice management and EHR and company) had flagged her for collections and that I would like to offer her a payment plan to stop the proceedings from going forward. She said yes, she would appreciate that, and I explained that if the insurance/s paid, and left her with a credit, I would refund the overpayments. Each time I called, she asked me to give her another day or so to get the card information from her husband and to see if the ******** she applied for would respond. I gave her such days, and on the day she was to give me the card, she stated her husband said they were not going to pay, it was our fault and let it got to collections. I have some of my notes below on the dates and coorespondances. I even offerred her a self pay/no insurance discount of 50%, that we offer patients with no insurance, but she declined stating she will have the insurance. The balance is for services rendered and the patient knows she needs to pay her bill if she has no insurance.

    NOTES:

11/7/23 I called pt to get credit card and she said her husband told her they will not pay and said it was our fault that we didn't collect from her then and charge her ins correctly. I tried to explain, that we filed several times per her request each time she gave us new ins info. She said to send her to collections as she is not paying. I sent email to ****** and had **** inactivate her acct until paid.//**

11/3/23 pt is trying to call ins again today and asked me to give her until Mon.//**

11/2/23 I called pt re: bal. She said she is waiting for ******** to fix issue but will pay tomorrow if she has not heard back from them to avoid collections. I told her if ins is corrected and they end up paying, we will credit her card back./'**

    Thank you,
