      We bought a digital piano three years ago. We were promised that we can trade in our digital piano with full credit if we want to upgrade to an acoustic piano. We decided to purchased the piano from them even their price was higher than other stores. Now we came back and decided to trade up. At the beginning, the salesman said that we can only trade in with full credit if we buy a new piano triple or double the value (This was against their original promise already.). He said that the trade in credit can be applied to the price tag in the store. We specially confirmed with him before leaving. We took a day to consider the offer, and we decided to purchase Kawai 500 , which is almost triple the digital pianos value. Then the salesman said he needed to confirm with the boss. A day later, they came back and said that they will give us $1500 credit (which is 1/3 of the value of the digital piano). They were reasoning that the trade in credit will apply to the MRSP not the price tag in the store. However, the MRSP of K500 is about $17000, and the price tag in store is $14500! So basically, they use this excuse to negate their original promise. They said that if the stock is higher, they can give us higher trade-in value. Red flag! This is not what they said three years ago. The trade-in credit should not depend on your supply conditions. I understand that used digital piano has little residual value. But if you cannot afford to honor your promise, do not make it. Otherwise, it is a scam! We would not have purchased the digital piano from them if they did not have the trade-in policy. They refuse to solve the problem.
