On 08/10/23, I contacted federalresumeexperts.com by email to expedite a resume for a posted federal vacancy that was closing that evening. Their charge is $299.95 for the resume service with an additional $50 to expedite same day delivery. I provided them a copy of my current resume for reference. Later that afternoon, they returned their product. I advised them that it was not sufficient, as it had numerous errors, typos, and was generally sloppy (among other complaints) An entire day of emails later, they refuse to make any corrections unless I highlight them...which would essentially be me re-writing the resume in its entirety. Their website offers 100% satisfaction guarantee or they will re-write the resume. The refuse to honor that and instead attempted to intimidate me through their emails by insinuating their knowledge of my personal/work details. I was unable to apply to the posted vacancy by the closing deadline and still do not have a usable resume for the cost of $350.Pending credit card charge despute.

-I contacted the business by phone on Saturday, spoke with **** who stated if I submitted documents on Sunday and paid a rush fee, I would have my resume packet back by Tuesday evening - I paid $300 on Sunday when I submitted - I was not contacted until Tuesday to ** the packet was being worked - on Tuesday, another $50 was paid for a rush fee - Tuesday evening I had nothing. I emailed and inquired and was told I would have something on Wednesday.- (Rush fee should have been returned at this point as they did not meet the time)- documents were returned to me, part of the packet in size 6 font and part in size 8 font. They advertise the follow OPM best practice, this is not a best practice- you cant even read it.- part of the packet they took the exact same paragraph and used this on all 6 documents that I am required to submit. This again is not a favored method from OPM - I called on Wednesday and spoke to **** again and he kept saying writers have discretion .I get thatthe site also says the use OPM best practices, formats and standards.he was unwilling to see how a font size 6 abd 8 on a resume was bad, general knowledge is you use average font size 11 or 12 - basic writing rules.- on Wednesday I was assured I would have it back by 11:59. I did not receive the revised until Thursday (3/23/23). The product did not have font size adjust and corrections had not been made to my statisfaction - his website states 100% satisfaction guaranteed - his website and verbally stated that work is done by GS 15 and SES staff. When I asked him about this, he stated that ***** who is the lead editor is not a federal government employee, that becomes false advertising - bottom line, they falsely advertised, they guaranteed 100% - they need to refund the $350 I paid - they need to provide a product at the level they say they do - I think they falsify who (level of staff and position of writers) who work for them

I personally used the ******* ****** *** website located at *****************************. A colleague of mine specifically used Federal Resume Experts - ************************************. It was odd at first how we both managed to have the same “editor” by the name of Scott. Both companies have the same address and same phone number. Unfortunately, me and my colleague both fell for the same traps on different websites, that are CLEARLY run by the same scam artists. These "companies" are one in the same These people are scam artists using deceitful and fraudulent business practices and use the ******* registered name all over their website to make people think that they are associated with them. I got ripped off for $205. It is also interesting that their "CEO" does NOT have a name but he or she claims, ““We take care of all your Federal resume writing needs throughout your entire Federal career, for free!” – CEO, FEDeral Resume Experts®”. Their website claims of their CEO, the one with NO NAME ANYWHERE. It states, “******* ****** ***® CEO is a former United States Department of Justice official, Federal Agent (Special Agent), a published author and a graduate of a nationally accredited and recognized law school with former prosecutorial experience. I was using ******* ****** ***, but all of the correspondence was from Federal Resume Experts. I also noticed that their customer service email shows ************************... I was using ******* ****** ***... So that should have been a red flag that I missed! Hopefully I have provided enough information that they can be investigated or that the Better Business Bureau can do something or forward this to someone who can do something. I know that my chance to recoup my money is slim to none, but I can only hope that these SCAM ARTISTS are shut down and nobody else has to fall for their lies and deceitfulness! I don’t want ONE MORE SINGLE PERSON to fall VICTIM to this SCAM as me and my colleague did!
