      I was so fortunate to be connected with Comfort Keepers in overseeing my mom's care. I worked with them for about 3 years, with my mom's needs progressing from just a few hours a day to round-the-clock. They were kind, responsive, and knew their stuff. My case manager was Melinda (Mindi) and she helped with whatever I needed: finding me the right team of caregivers, moving someone off the team if they were not a good fit for my mom (or for me), allowing me to vent, complain, ask questions, etc. It didn't matter--Mindi was there for me. And it wasn't just Mindi. My favorite aides truly cared about my mom, did special things for her, made her laugh, played games or just talked with her--and of course, were quick to let Mindi know if something seemed off. They also didn't seem to mind that I was a "helicopter daughter." Further, David (co-owner with his wife, Ani), was also always available if I had questions about the billing, or the invoices. He even worked directly with my mom's long-term health insurance company which took an enormous burden off my plate. The agency felt like it was family-run...in a good way...combined with true knowledge of this end of the healthcare business and a commitment to make clients happy. I highly recommend them!
