      On the morning of May 5th I parked at the parking lot between ******************** at ************, ************* to go to ********* and 7-11. I exited my vehicle and turned right to enter the stores. I visited the 7-11 first and went back to my vehicle to put the items I had bought into the car, this took approximately 2 minutes, I found the car had gone. Looking around in confusion for about 5 minutes I noticed a sign saying that if your car was towed to call a certain number. I called the number and they told me to go to ************************ in *************************. When I got there they told me they towed the car because I had 'walked off' and that the parking lot was owned by *********. Initially I accepted their explanation, payed $170 to get my car back and drove home. Two days later I went back to the parking lot to investigate, yes, there were signs there but there was no indication that it was a ********* parking lot and no signs indicating that it was a tow away zone. The 'customer parking only' sign I observed was in front of a large 7-11 sign indicating to me that it was ok to park there (picture included). I believe that the towing company was waiting there, watching me and that I was a victim of a dishonest (maybe illegal) scam. I have been living in this neighborhood for many years and I have always used that parking lot without incident.

      This company had improperly towed my car. Their advertisements said they can be reached 24/7 for retrieving your car. From 4:30 am until 6:30 am, I called this company 10 times, left a voicemail message and sent in a corporate email. It was already an inconvenience for my car to be improperly towed, but the false advertisement and lack of follow up from this company has also been a safety concern.

      Speedy towing has illegally towed one of our vehicles from a reserved spot over three times. They admitted fault but consistently fail to accommodate us for our losses, making us late to work, having to pay for alternative means of transportation out of our own pocket, and even making us pay for the release of our vehicle on one of the three occasions this has happened. The vehicle came back to us damaged on one of the three occasions that speedy towing has illegally towed our vehicle and failed to do anything about it or even acknowledge our problems.
