I took a motor to a.h.m. the first week of December. They told me leave a **************************************************************** two. I called after 3 weeks and nothin so i kept calling a couple times a month for the next 4 months, and the last time i called they said they would have a estimate by the end of the week and the motor would be done by april. They never called so the next week i called 3 different times on a Thursday no answer, so i stoped in and told them i was picking my motor up. They said they would get it together for me the next day. So i went there the next day picked the motor up and they said they washed it and took out the cam bearings and kept 125 dollars of my money. I had my motor at another shop before i took it there they completely disassembled the whole motor and that is how i took it to a.h.m. performance so i took my motor and called the shop that disassembled it and ask if they left the cam bearings in and they said no. So i called a.h.m. and asked for my money back because they did nothing at all to my motor and charged me 125 dollars for something another shop already did and now they will not answer the phone for me.

Mr ****** did drop his engine off, in pieces, for us to inspect and estimate. I did explain to him that we were behind due to one of our main techs injuring himself at home and he was out for almost the entire time this job was here. He told me he was not in a hurry but, toward the end, I could tell he was getting anxious so we did bump it up in front of some other jobs. I told him I would start working it in to get him a quote, which we did, but, in the meantime, he came in and wanted to cancel the job. I told him that I would need a day to gather his parts, finalize any bill and then give it to him. On the block, we did have to take out the cam bearings, oil plugs and freeze plugs and clean it which is standard procedure to get started on inspections. We went into this thinking we were going to be completing the job so why would we not start with step #1? Since that is as far as we got, I billed him for that and gave him a refund on the balance of his deposit. I did not think this should even be an issue and I do not care what someone else says; we did the work. We have not been in business for almost 44 years charging for work we did not do.

I am not going to refund money on work that we did. I did refund him what was leftover from his deposit. There is not much else I can add to this as this was quite simple in my opinion.
