  Tried to make a dental appointment only to be told that my I can no longer receive service at dentist due to cancellation of appointments. Keep in minds we all have lives and things that happen where we can not make appointments we schedule. This happened 5 years ago back in 2019, this is the last time since I made an appointment. I was not giving no disclosure that this was a policy of their business or anything. Also Dr ******** when I had him he was rude!

  This patient saw Dr. ************* not Dr. ********. There was a history off broken appointments. Our office understands that things happen,but in this case it was 3 appointments without a courtesy call to say that the appointment needed to be canceled or rescheduled. We give patients leeway,but 3 times in a row leaves us no choice but to dismiss the patient.

  So the issue is I was told I could not make an appointment with the business and more after missing 3 appointment dates. They were not 3 missed in a row they were of different days and months. They responded on my last complaint that things happen in life yes this is true and being as though this event happened about 3 years ago how is it that you still penalize for a situation that happen 3years ago. It’s not like it was recent.

  On May 31st, 2023, I had a dental appointment at 3-4 p.m. with Rosedale Family Dental at 6304 Kenwood Ave in Rosedale, MD for a cleaning. The staff, for the most part have been professional with the exception of one--Dr. Papaeracleous. After the cleaning by a hygienist, Dr. Papaeracleous came in to examine my teeth and to ask a few questions about my partial dentures. Since he did ask, my response was that I felt some pressure on the right side of my mouth from the partial dentures. Well, he became agitated and impatient. It seemed he was overwhelmed by the amount of patients he was caring for at the time. He also (in front of me) insulted the hygienist more than once. I felt so bad for her and was embarrassed for her. I thought she did a pretty good job in cleaning my teeth. The dentist's attitude and behavior during my visit was truly uncalled for. Because he seemed agitated and overwhelmed, he ordered the hygienist to place me in another room for the matter of my partial dentures. I NEVER had to do this prior to this visit so why now!? This did not make any sense nor was it necessary so I decided to remove myself abruptly from the dental chair. I did inform the staff at the front desk of Dr. Papaeracleous' disgusting behavior towards me, as a "paying" patient and towards the hygienist. A couple of days later, I did speak with the office manager about the Dr. Papaeracleous' attitude. He needs to work on his skills when speaking to human beings. As for social skills within an office environment, he receives an "F".

  I'm so sorry for this incident. I'm just seeing this review for the first time . Our office strives to give our patients quality care in a familial environment. The office has another dentist who would be happy to see you and you ar always welcome back.
