    My husband and I went into Cakes by David and ordered a cake on 7/21 at 1614p.m. and was to be picked up on 7/30. On July 27, 2022, I called Cakes by David and left a message at 0730a that I needed to cancel the order due to a Covid outbreak in my family. I did not hear back from them, so I called them at 1100am to confirm they received my message. The rude elderly lady that answered started in by saying "if the cake was too expensive you should have told me". It had nothing to do with price. She stated that they cancellation policy was posted on her desk. Unfortunately, due to everything else posted on the desk, I did not see the policy and we DID NOT verbally discuss this policy. I did, however, look on the website this morning and nothing is posted on the website. I tried explaining that to her, however, she just kept saying it was posted on her desk. I am requesting to be reimbursed $103.00. I would pick another date, but after the encounter I had with this business this morning, I refuse to give them ANY business.
