    I had an appointment at 11:30. I signed in at 11:25, and the lady at the counter was finishing up with customer #1 and told me to have a seat. When she was done with customer #1 customer #2 came in and did not speak english. I assumed that employee #1 would have called me back to the counter once she was finished with customer #2, instead she just left for lunch with nobody else at the counter. At that time another employee #2 came to the front desk to take over and I heard her complain that the employee #1 just left for lunch without telling anyone. I sat in the empty waiting room for 1 hour. At that time I went to the front desk to see how much longer the wait was going to be. Employee #2 told me that employee # 1 called my name before she left for lunch AND SHE NEVER CALLED MY NAME. She went to get the office supervisor named ******* she then told me that my name was called and the doctor assumed I was a no show and will not be able to see me. I explained to her that my name was not called to finish sign in paper work and she said I was a liar and the only thing she can do is schedule the dentist appt for another time. ****** the supervisor was very rude, unprofessional and snippy. Instead of acknowledging that her employee accidentally left for lunch before finishing my registration, she be littled me and said I should have paid attention and listen for my name. I was the only person in the waiting room, if they realized I was still sitting there I would have thought they would have apologized for the delay and should have tried to make sure I was seen. Instead she lectured me on checking in with them every 10 minutes if I was still waiting to ensure I dont get forgotten about. I asked her to go ahead and reschedule my appt, she wrote the date at time on a card and shoved it in my hand. When I turned around to walk away she was very rude and snarky for me to have the fabulous day I deserved. This is unacceptable coming from a supervisor. *************** call me

    Our dental operations manager reached out to this patient and the patient is satisfied with her resolution.  We emphasized that we treat all patients the same and don't prioritize people from other countries.  While they may require more resources because of language barriers, we still treat every patient equally.  We also reminded our staff to check the waiting area periodically to ensure patients aren't waiting for an extended period.
