      Chesapeake Waste cheated me on the payment I made to them as I usually pay the yearly fee in full. Big mistake to pay them in full. As I retired I felt that I now had the time to bring my garbage to the landfill weekly. I called to inform them and this was accepted. I was told that once the can was picked up I would be refunded my $180.00. WRONG!! I was told that per "my contract" which was NEVER sent to me, NOR DID I SIGN, that the payment will not be returned unless I move to another location. Always had to call to inform that my garbage was not picked up on specified day and always received an attitude for calling. For them to KEEP MY MONEY says a lot about their CUST SERVICE which is ZERO especially with the girls in the office and that they are willing to CHEAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Use anyone else but CHESAPEAKE WASTE.

      Chesapeake Waste is a terrible company to deal with. We have used their services for about two years. Not only do they charge your credit card 1 month earlier than your prepaid quarterly time, they never inform you of increasing rates! It just shows up on your credit card and it has been increasing each time. They send a text when the trash pickup day changes for a holiday, why not send a text to inform folks about rate increases. When we asked to stop service at the end of our quarter, we were informed we would not get a refund ($91.45) until they picked up their can. Two weeks after the can was retrieved, I had to CALL THEM to ask for the refund. I was then told there would be a $3 fee for refunding the money THEY charged on my card 7 weeks prior! Really??!! They make sure they get their money well ahead of time, but don't care about follow-up on refunds. At least they did pickup the trash on Mondays at 4am. Find another trash service, this company is truly not worth the hassle.
