      I ordered 1" gravel for my driveway. Instead of 1" I had 3-4" rocks delivered. I have tried calling the business several times with no response. The owners wife will not allow me to speak with him to try and come to a resolution.

      The customer placed the order for our 1" gravel over the phone. She was told that our 1" gravel can range in size from 3/4" to 1.5" in size. She told us the quantity that she wanted delivered. We delivered the amount that she requested. She called the office several days later to complain that she was unable to walk on the gravel without twisting her ankle. I verified with the driver that we delivered the correct product, which he confirmed that she received the 1" gravel. A few weeks later she came into the office and I spoke to her again. She again reiterated that she was unable to walk on it. I asked her how she determined the quantity of gravel that she needed for her driveway. She said that she was told the quantity she needed by someone who is not employed by us. I then asked her about the size of her driveway. I determined that she had ordered way too much gravel for the size of the driveway. When the gravel is layered to heavily, then yes it is harder to walk on. I did say that over time the gravel will compact and make it more manageable to walk on. I told her we aren't responsible for the over ordering of the gravel and we can't take it back after it has been dropped. She did ask to speak to the owner and I did not refuse her, he simply was not in the office. I am responsible for sales and customer service issues and I determined that there was no issue with the quality of the gravel but she simply ordered too much.
