    After living in this home for nearly one month, here are the specific details of the issue:

    Moved-in: April 28

    Location of Damage: First floor of the house ( Living room and kitchen)
    Extent of Damage: The fridge is leaking, black mold growing is in the storage closet, walls have been removed from the storage closet, the first floor is seeping in water, and the bottom of the stairs has to be removed.
    Date Noticed: Sunday, May 12
    Suspected Cause: Ice frozen over the HVAC

    This water damage is not only unsightly but also is a potential health risk due to the identified black mold growth. As you know, prolonged exposure to damp conditions can lead to structural damage and serious health concerns for the occupants and our pets. We also had our electric bill spike due to living uncomfortably with fans, missed over a weeks worth of work to cater to the maintence of the house. On of

    Suspected Cause: Rusty pipes

    Issue #3:

    Date and Time of Entry: May 16 at 9:40AM
    Description of Incident: Maintenance entered the home with 2 Healthy Homes staff
    Lack of Notification: There was not a scheduled time that we were expected to see maintenance today, however, we knew they were coming, which is why we stayed home from work again. I had just woken up to find notifications that someone had entered the home. We witnessed maintenance enter our home via our Ring camera without our consent.


    As a new resident of this home, it has been disclosed through various maintenance workers to us that this home had water damages and issues prior to our move-in date. We were unaware and ended up uncomfortably residing in a damaged home.
