On Oct 20th 2023 I was driving back home when my car started hesitating really bad. I was going to attempt to try to make it home but I felt it was more serious than I thought. I saw the gas station which has an auto repair garage which was open and had no cars at the moment. I then spoke to the mechanic I think named ****** and he then began to diagnose the car. He plugged in his code reader and stated with great confidence that my car had 2 bad "ignition coils" that can be easily replaced. Being that they had to order said parts, I am assuming the shop manager ****** then came and spoke to me and assured me the car would be ready the following day Saturday by the end of the day. I get a call that Saturday and I am not sure who I spoke to but they said my car won't be ready until the following Monday. I had to work Monday so I basically gave them till Tuesday. Tuesday comes around and then they say the car is still not ready. Mind you I have no car so I am catching Uber/Lyft to get around so I expressed that I need my car ASAP. So I continue just going to work and waiting on the call that my car is complete. The following Friday it has now been a week, I catch an Uber there before work so I can speak to someone. My car is out front and ************** guess is tending to it and he then shows me the problem potentially is the "throttle body" but says it should be good after a ******** "reprogramming". So a few more days goes by and now he is sometimes refusing my calls, I guess the number they were using was a personal cell phone. After 2 weeks I was fed up and now I am demanding answers. He then tells me my car is somewhere else and he doesn't know the address. I then sent him a text stating that I am getting a lawyer involved and then he finally sends me a text where it is. Another 5 days goes by and the new shop also won't *************. Finally I went and had it toed to my mechanic. My mechanic repaired it but said they destroyed the intake manifold by replacing it.
