    At approximately 7:00 p.m., on December 21, 2022 my husband stopped our car at the Red Top Service Center in order to buy gas. He filled the tank. (All receipts will be mailed separately). He had not gotten very far from the Red Top gas station when the car became disabled at a traffic light. I called a tow truck for him but he had to wait for approximately 3 hours before a tow truck arrived. By this time it was very cold and dark outside. Due to a mixup with the towing companies, the car did not arrive at our house until early the next morning. After the car arrived at our house, we called ****** *. The ****** * person arrived the next morning and told us that the car needed a new battery and probably a new alternator. Although the battery was less than 3 years old we purchased a battery from ****** * for $114.47. (Prior to the time that my husband stopped to purchase fuel from the Red Top Service Center the previous day, we had not had any trouble with our battery.) The ****** * person arranged for a truck tow to tow our car to our mechanic. After examining the car, our mechanic called us to tell us that the "fuel" that we purchased contained more water than gas. This had caused a great deal of damage to the car. We had to pay $966.00 for repairs (see receipt). We had had no problems with the car prior to the time that my husband purchased what he thought was gas from the Red Top Service Center.
