In September 2022 I hired AG Heating and Cooling to replace my HVAC system at ******************. They asked me to have an electrician run a 240V line to the outside of the building before the work, which I did. However, at the time of installation, AG's workers spliced that 240V line and left the joint secured only with electrical tape and exposed to the elements, which could injure or kill a person if they were to touch it, or start a fire if exposed to too much rain. I hired an electrician to immediately remediate the situation, since AG had been ignoring my prior communications and since they had originally told me to hire an outside electrician and clearly were not trained to handle electricity properly. I brought this to AG's attention afterward and they are not willing to pay any of the cost. They also left a hole in the side of the building that rodents or birds could have gotten into; I also paid to have this fixed. Neither problem was brought to my attention at the time of the install, they were noticed days later by others, which I am grateful for but which also delayed the fixes. Pictures of both attached. Lastly, when I brought these issues to the attention of AG's owner, he responded by threatening to withhold the receipt for the last $1500 I had paid until I removed a negative review I posted on ****. My review was completely factual and regardless I am entitled to a receipt for what I paid. My desired resolution is for AG to reimburse me the $716.54 I spent to repair the electrical work (receipt attached) and the $50 I spent to repair the hole in the building (no receipt as I had my handyman do it as part of other work - I can get him to generate an invoice if needed).
