    my terrace deck (3rd floor, attached to room with its own roof) was built by roof solutions and roof underlying deck replaced in 2015. must have been a less than up to par job, as the impermeable lining used was inadequately secured by the wall flashings and termination bars. this, of course, led to a leak. despite still being under warranty, every excuse was given as to why it was no longer covered. the representative who visited felt that the deck work was ok, but the roof of the building (roof of the attached room) needed to be replaced. this was done at a cost of $11,400 and ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY. he also felt that the siding installed by roof solutions needed to be repaired, but NOT at their cost despite being under warranty. when i told the on site representative that finding a company to perform the repairs was difficult, Russell, the owner decided to do me a favor. although the rep made it clear that roof solutions no longer provide siding work, since my search for a company was leading nowhere, he would take care of it. several days later i received a proposal to repair the siding of this small terrace for $28,800; the other proposals ranged from $7000-9000. this was Russell's "favor!" after my condo association used his company both in 2015 and again several weeks ago for what turned out to be a totally unnecessary roof replacement. draw your own conclusions.
