    On 1/15/2023 we contacted ******************* about two of the puppies she had for sale on her website Magnum Great Dane. We text and emails about the two dogs the price and shipping fees and signed a sales contract for $1700.00 ($1200.00 for the puppies and $500.00 for shipping). I proceeded to send her the money through ***** on 1/15/2023. On 1/16/2023 she sent me an email stating that she was dropping the dogs off at the airport carrier and that I would be responsible for renting a airline approved create for transport and not to miss the call or email from them and that she would be out the rest of the day just to leave a message if there was any issues. I received an email from ***** *** ********* stating it was and additional $1550.00 deposit on the create plus $30.00 rental fee. I asked him repeatedly if this was for both dogs as well as was this a scam as the deposit for the create was so high. He assured me that it was the total for both dogs and that the $1550.00 would be refunded after the create was return to the airline. I sent ***** the $1580.00 (who I will also be filing a claim against) the money to ship the dogs. I attempted multiple times to contact Magnum to confirm the pricing as well as find out what flight.Later that evening ***** reached out for an additional $1580.00 before they would release information stating that it was only for one dog I respectfully refused and requested them to ship just one then. They refused and hung up. I have sent multiple emails, text and most recently a demand letter to each company requesting a full refund and have not received any response. I now believe these two companies are working together to scam people like me. Unfortunately, in my excitement to surprise my husband for his birthday with theses puppies I didnt pay attention to the warning signs. I only wanted to provide my husband with the gift of beautiful Great Danes Please contact me for copies of the sales contract, demand letter, or emails if needed.
