    Mrs. Janice P********** has claimed to be a professional tax preparer. I have used her based on a referral for years. I recently found out she has been stealing and falsifying information. I have contacted her regarding several of my concerns. My first concern was she promised me that I would receive a certain amount for my taxes. When i finally got my taxes it wasn't at all what she said, in fact they took the money. They gave an explanation of why and said my information was not correct. I contacted Janice for help she just told me to call IRS. Once i spoke with them I called Janice again advising the information was incorrect can she review it. I also advised her that the 1040 form I paid her to send to IRS had been returned and needed to be update. I did not know the situation would get worse. A few days later majority of the family and friends that I referred to her got an audit request also... There is about 10 of us from my family alone. When we try to contact her she always say she's out of town, or at work... She never follows-up unless she is collecting money for an invoice. Every year around X-mas she takes $20 or small amounts from people account and think they wont notice. However when my family and I noticed she claimed it to be an error. At this point, she will not respond to email or text, She acts as if she has an attitude cause she messed up. She was greedy and the dark has come to light. She has caused so many issues without providing any help.

    I would like a refund because the services were completely unprofessional and I’ve been dealing with this person for years trusting them and also referred a lot of my family and friends… The reason why I selected informational purposes is because people need to know who they’re dealing with. When a person is getting audited and their professional tax preparer is not answering their messages and telling people she’s on vacation that’s not acceptable when the state of Maryland and IRS is asking for answers for stuff that you have no clue about because you’re not the tax preparer
