      My 2014 Suburban was service at JIffy Lube (JL) on March 22, 2025. JL broke the spark plug and took full ownership of it. They towed my Truck to CAN and then Precision Tune; places of their choice, where some one started the engine and cause damage. I have pictures of the engine and was was stuck in the vehicle. After 1 week, I requested for a rental car and was not place in a vehicle compatible to what I drive. I tried to talking to JL, but **** ****** and ***** who continued to misinformed appeared to get annoyed. ***** told me the are putting in a new engine, but PT already told me they found an engine for with 95K , 2000 less that my original engine in my truck. I ask about the engines diagnosis and that was not provided, I ask about the warrant, general paperwork was giving, but no process on how to file for warranty. On Saturday, April 5, 2025 - ***** informed my truck was completed and she was driving my truck back. ***** is not an authorize driver on my insurance and ***** was the person who broke the spark plug. I got my truck tow to ************** and paid for an engine diagnostic and was informed - I needed a new engine as the engine place in my truck was a shame. I am requesting a for new engine and the amount of cost and time its taking me to get my vehicle corrected, to included but not limited to towing. I have more supporting details to provided as well.

      I am requesting a new engine and refund of all the time I put into this matter.  As of April 7, 2025 - after I spoke to ***** - there have been no contact on my end - not even getting the warranty information.  I do not trust that Jiffy will adhere to there issues.  I want my truck fixed without any further delays.

      We admit liability due to the unfortunate incident when we attempted to service Ms. ****** vehicle due to the original spark plugs being corroded.

      Due to this incident, we placed Ms. ***** in a rental car and moved forward with replacing the motor in the vehicle with EQUAL OR LESSER MILEAGE than the vehicle currently has - as required by law.

      I have spoken with Ms. ***** for roughly 1/2 an hour I explained to her that we "Jiffy Lube " will have an outside automotive repair facility install the motor and I will purchase a 6 month /6000-mile warranty for the motor and the labor to protect her if there were any issues in relation to the motor purchased or any mistakes made in the installation process.

      The GM 5.3l motor with the matching engine vin code # (7) had roughly 95 thousand miles on it vs Ms. ****** current mileage of 97477.

      Ms. ***** now has a 6 month/6000-mile warranty on her engine vs not having one currently.

       

      Therefore if Ms. ***** has an issue in regard to her diagnostic from Ourisman Chevrolet, we ask her to RETURN to Precision Tune located at ***********************************************************************;

      show them Ourisman Diagnostic report and allow them to warranty the issues indicated 

      At Ms. ******* request I forwarded her a copy of the labor installation at Precision Tune and the Purchase of the motor from Chucks auto parts solutions receipts  via email 

      Unfortunately, we cannot foresee these types of issues, therefore we provided a warranty ---- even new car /trucks have issues after you purchase them and require warrantied repairs

      Hello - This issue with Jiffy Lube is Not resolved.  As you are aware, the issue started March 22, 2025.  I was informed on  Monday, April 14, 2025 the engine that was put into my vehicle was faulty. Both Jiffy Lube and Precision Tune have not bee helpful.  I was told by ***** today, she needed to get approval from the warranty company to see if they would pay for a rental car.  This is Jiffy Lube error and I am not clear why they are not helping.  This is neglect/negligence based on Maryland's law.  As Jiffy Lube, regional **** ****** is on vacation and ****** Precision manager is on vacation as well.  I am customer who is suffering.  No one from Leadership has contacted me.  I am stuck in limbo with no access to a car. ***** ***** communication and when I call Precision Tune, they just let me go into voicemail, during business hours. I provided them the document as at the point, a new engine is needed. - See attach document.

      I am rejecting this response because: - The issue is not corrected.  - They have my vehicle back with no time of completion and I do not have access to a rental car.

      Good Morning

       

      The vehicle was returned to Precision Tune on 04/14/2025

      The mechanic examined the vehicle and called the company where we purchased the engine from to send their adjuster out -who did not arrive until Wednesday  04/16/2025 to confirm the issue and honor the warranty that was purchased for her 

      Ms. ***** was issued a rental car the following day Thursday 04/17/2025

      She was told the engine should arrive sometime Friday  04/18/2025 and work should begin on or about Monday 04/22/2025

      Precision tune does not wish to rush and thoroughly look over the vehicle prior to releasing it back to her  . 

      She was given a date of April 28th 2025 and ask for patience to try and resolve this situation with in reason

      Hello - as you may have seen on the e-mail..... I am consistently been trying to get my vehicle back and the information to assure this second time - my vehicle is correct.  I need this information as Jiffy Lube or Precision Tune is not responding.  .... 

      Please let me know today as I requested several times. As a customer I should have this information. 
      The mileage on the engine
      The history of the engine - VIN number.......
      Warrant information
      Engine diagnostic - once it's placed in my truck.

      I continue to request information about the engine and Jiffy Lube is not being responsive. This is is to assure they did not place the same engine back in my truck..... and provided false information.
