Antonio & his crew with Home & Office Movers were absolutely incredible. This move was scheduled with a very quick turnaround and they were on timed very efficient, friendly, and carefully loaded all of my belongings into the truck; making sure to pack all mirrors and large furniture extremely well. Do not use Home and Office Mover or the Move Safe Relocation firm -found out too late they were a broker. The quote doubled by the time I left Virginia. Arrived in Texas with several items broken or missing. Forms were carbon copies and illegible so very difficult to determine how many boxes were included. I was then required to file with a third party documentation of what was broken or missing including weight. How can I weigh missing items? After 7 months I was denied any compensation due to insufficient evidence. Of course, I can appeal it....if I can give them more evidence of broken or missing items. No one seemed to care about my "lost treasures". Of course, I won't appeal, which I'm certain is part of their weeding out process. I just hope someone is forewarned.

As a company, we take great care to handle belongings with respect and professionalism, and it is never our intention for damages to occur.
Regarding the claims process, we must adhere to industry standards, which require detailed documentation of any damages or missing items. This ensures fairness and allows us to process claims accurately. Without clear representation or evidence, it becomes difficult to determine what occurred, which unfortunately led to the denial of your claim. That said, we want to assure you that in cases where our moving team is responsible for damages and proper documentation is provided, we always reimburse our customers accordingly.
We understand that filing claims and providing documentation can feel burdensome, especially in a stressful situation like this. Your feedback is valuable, and we will use it to review our processes to better support our customers during claims and improve the transparency of our paperwork.

This business is very unprofessional. They came to my house under Amerisafe. They came to my house and gave me a different quote way higher than what we agreed on phone. I canceled the agreement and Amerisafe won’t refund the totality of my deposit.
I cancelled, the driver left and came back with a different quote which I agreed on because of the inconvenience I am into already. I ask if the deposit is part of the new quote, he said no, that agreement is canceled already.
That was a mistake.
I asked when the load would be delivered, he asked me for a date. I said Tuesday but it has to be in the evening so my husband can be back from work.
He rushed me through a bunch of paperwork and told me to write a note on the envelope about the time I want it delivered.
This company sent an email on Tuesday that they can’t deliver but Wednesday morning between 7 and 8 and if we are not there they will charge $150 an hour or leave with the load, also we have to pay them cash or money order.
The office was so unprofessional and very dismissive. All the told me was I signed a contract. They don’t want to hear anything else. The driver didn’t explain any of this to me. None of the things he told me was followed.
This experience was very stressful for me and my family and I don’t want anyone else to go through this.Home and Office Movers LLC

Regarding the pricing, we understand the frustration when quotes change. It’s important to note that we are not involved in the initial booking process, so we are unable to provide a refund for funds that did not go directly to us. Our role begins when we assess the items to be moved, and we adjust the quote based on the actual space needed. This ensures the final pricing accurately reflects the scope of the move, which is standard practice in the industry.
As for the delivery, we always work hard to coordinate a time that would work for you. But after scheduling adjustments were requested, we were also in communication with both you and your husband to explain the process and address any concerns. While we strive to make every interaction smooth, we rely on clear communication from both sides to avoid misunderstandings.

The whole crew were nice and polite and were very accommodating. Antonio was a great foreman of the group. If I had a demand, they got right on it and packed all belongings as if they were theirs. They took great care with my grandfather clock, piano, keyboard and other precious furniture we had purchased overseas during our Army assignments.
