    On or about 12/13/2023, I had solar window film installed by this company in my newly built home (moved in 11/1/2023). Their sales *** recommended the ***** ******** Spectrally Selective Series Film, stating it was used in museums to protect historical items and would prevent fading of furniture and flooring, while also cutting UV rays. He assured us we could safely place leather furniture near windows and move rugs freely without concern. Their website claims "window film provides a 24-hour barrier against harmful UVA rays, protecting people, furniture, artwork, flooring, and interiors". Despite these assurances, weve experienced significant sun damage and fading on furniture and flooring throughout the home, indicating the film failed to perform as marketed.Examples include:Loft flooring: Rugs placed in 8/2024 floor shows ************* room chairs: Delivered 11/30/2023significantly fading on chair in sunlight. Set of chairs no longer match. Family room and bedroom flooring: Rugs delivered 12/112/15/2023, floors are significantly faded around the rugs.Back door floor fading: Rug placed 1/17/2024floor is visibly faded.We paid $6,000 for the product and installation.I initially contacted the company in January 2024 to ***ort the issue. They visited our home, took photographs, and acknowledged the concerns. The only solution they offered was to remove the current film and charge us additional money to install another of their products. They have since stopped responding to my calls, voicemail messages, and a follow-up email I sent two weeks ago requesting a response by April 7, 2025 to prevent ***orting our issue to the BBB.Resolution Requested:A full refund of the $6,000 paid for the film and installation.Reimbursement for damage to furniture and floors caused by the products failure.I have attempted to resolve this issue directly with the company, but due to their lack of response, I am turning to the BBB for assistance.
