    The property manager is slow with complaints and fixing apartments issues it took him a month to fix the flooding in my kitchen and to fix why my toilet kept getting stop up , now its a roach problem in the building and we can't get him to call pest control

    I have resided here for 10 years. We now have a new property manager. There's a dispute about me owning money for rent. To my understanding, service orders are still supposed to be completed. I've put in five service orders for repair's since he's arrived starting in June and non have been repair. I've requested: 1. June 2: Patio blinds needed replaced. Put on hold per ***********************(property manager)2. June 4: Balcony screen needed fixing.3. July 14: Air conditioner not working. Maintenance came. I was told they will be back the next day to clean the coils. No one came.4. July 14: Put in another request to fix patio blinds: No one came.5. July 28: Requested air conditioner to be fixed. No on came.

    Dear *** ********, 
    Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry for the lack of a working air conditioning unit in your residence. The Property Manager has been aware of the situation since your initial July 14, 2023 communication. The Property Manager immediately contacted the appropriate contractor in order to obtain the part necessary to fix your air conditioning unit. Unfortunately, that part is on back order and we are still waiting for an update from the contractor. We will continue to follow up with the contractor so the problem can be resolved as soon as possible. At this point we can only wait for the contractor to get the necessary parts before the repair can be made. 

    Regarding the patio blinds and balcony screen, we do apologize for the delay in addressing these two issues, but because they are not of immediate risk to your safety or health, we had to first prioritize maintenance requests from other tenants that were of a higher priority for safety and health reasons. 

    Please note that your non-payment of rent has absolutely no bearing on the speed with which our office is addressing your concerns. As stated previously, the air conditioning is dependent on the contractor getting back to us on the missing part. The patio blinds and screen door will be addressed as soon as possible as well. If it is determined that the damage was caused by yourself and/or an occupant/guest, we will be charging your account for the cost of the repairs.
