I needed help with my BGE bill and applied to fuel fund on May 28. I received a email from them saying my application was received and they would get back to me. The application ask if you have a turn off notice and I did for June 6 2025 my turnoff notice has come and gone and as today Monday June 16 I still have not heard from them. How do they say that they help with turn off notices when they never get back to you. I am 90 years old and need my electric to stay on.

On 11/22/24 I had to come up with a partial payment to *** to have my electrical services restored. Fuel Fund helped with partial payment. It took me a while to be able to pay $1900.00 to match ********* help. I finally made the payment on 11/22/24 and my service is still off today 11/25/24. ********* is unable to be contacted by phone voice message NOTHING. *** says ********* needs to tell them what to do. I am sorry how does that work. I am so disgusted, cold, hungry with two minor kids 10y and 11y in the house. No electricity, No refrigerator and cold. Please explain why this process is so long and unresolved? I paid my share and as a taxpayer this is alarming and Disheartening. Please reach out to *** to restore my services.Tyrease Nurse ************

Hello, I filled out a fuel fund application in August 2023 and was told that I didn’t have a turn off notice to meet the requirements. I received a turn off notice in November 2023 but the old application is still on file so I can not reapply
