    On 10/30/23 @12:05"27, They refused to process my return and proceeded to flag me. On 10/30/23 @12:05"27, an employee flagged me in the system because I do returns without a receipt. I went in (home store) and made to return an item; the lead who knew me said, "You always return without your receipt. Do you have any? I said no. He assigned it to a junior sales agent who obtained my information and then called another agent, who keyed in something into the system. The junior agent gave me a slip of paper from the system, and you are flagged. The lady that keyed into the system turned around and, at the top of her voice, with other customers, belted out," You are flagged, there is nowhere you will go in the auto zone, you cannot return without receipt, yelling. I stood there very violated and profiled, like I had committed a crime, thoroughly embarrassed. I am repairing a car that did not pass state inspection, and my mechanic allows me to buy items. Whatever is not the right item, of course, I will have to return it or exchange it. At the bottom of the Auto Zone receipt, it stated, "Don't worry about losing your receipt...." meaning one can make a return without a receipt. Your history will be pulled up. I, of course, enjoy this most of the time. So what warrants the flag and the embarrassment from the employee? There are other merchants besides Auto Zone I can shop without a red flag over my person. I called their headquarters to report and spoke to Stephanie, who told me the regional manager would call me, but nobody did. About three weeks earlier, the same store refused to take a return from me. I stopped by the one near my mechanic, and it was returned without incident. So, I believe these employees felt personal about it, know me, and acted on their what? Thank You
