I sent Mr. ******** email to let him know I was not confident in him handling my bankruptcy case because of the because of the errors on the contract, the contract was not signed. Mr. ******** said that he’s busy and some errors may occur which intern it made my for him to handle in my bankruptcy case even lower, and he denied my refund.

The lawyer does not provide best practices when it comes to bankruptcy cases. He denied pay attention to the details, which then in turn made me request a refund because I did not feel confident in his ability to handle my kids properly once I received the contract via email. That was not signed the contract had someone else’s name on it. My name was spelt wrong and I didn’t feel confident in his ability to handle the case.

Ms. ******* met with Mr. ******** for a free consultation and decided she wanted to proceed with the Bankruptcy. A non-refundable partial payment of $300.00 was received and the bankruptcy papers to file were provided to Ms. *******. The retainer agreement was sent for signature, there was an error in the greeting to Ms. *******.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
I wanted to clarify the details regarding my recent interaction with the bankruptcy attorney. I did have an initial consultation with the lawyer, during which I paid a $300 retainer. It was my understanding that the intention was to move forward with filing for bankruptcy with **** *******
I was given a form to list my assets, and that was the only form that I received.

However, after receiving an incorrect contract from the attorney, I became concerned and hesitant about continuing with their services. This led me to reconsider proceeding with that particular lawyer.

    Sincerely,
