We paid Mid-Atlantic Print Group, Inc.to print and deliver a bulk mail of our seed catalogs to our facilities in November and they have failed to fulfill their duties. They outsourced to Canada without telling us. The first shipment was delivered. The second shipment has been sitting in a facility in Ottawa, Canada since late November-early December. Our customers rely on our book to order and this delay has cost us money and we have received multiple complaints from customers. We paid them in advance for $10,830.00 on 10/20/23 (Check# ****), and again on 11/09/23 for $7,310 (Check# ****).

This company came to us December 2022 seeking to purchase goods on open terms. We granted them 30 day terms based on a credit application, credit check and personal phone call. They ran up approximately 12k in debt within the first 30 days of their first order, never made a payment and made continuous "excuses" and "promises" that never came to fruition.

On April 10, 2023 we sent our final payment to Mid-Atlantic Print Group for ***** catalogs they were to print. In total, we have paid Mid-Atlantic $38,905. The catalogs were sent to print in February. By this time we should have received the catalogs. We have received nothing. Contacts from Mid-Atlantic will no longer answer their phone, nor return emails. All supporting documentation can be submitted if needed.

Attached are emails showing the catalog was sent to the printer in February.  Typical turnaround time would be no more than two weeks once the artwork is sent to the printer.  The owner of Mid-Atlantic sent payment to the printer on Friday, April 14th.  He first claims he encountered "fraud" therefore not being able to ship our catalogs.  They should have been sent weeks before the alleged fraud.  Then, he contradicts himself and says the printer didn't send our catalogs, so he revoked the money.  This is just one example of the continuous excuses, lies, and contradictions from Mid-Atlantic.  Bottom line, we have paid them in full ($38,905).  We should have had these catalogs delivered by mid-March, yet we have received nothing and they have full payment.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have received the catalogs, however, they were delivered approximately three months later than was acceptable.  ********** has lost sales due to not having a catalog during our selling season.  Others should beware of Mid Atlantic Print Group!

    Sincerely,
