Jason Brager hired a group of freelancers to create a new website for The Big Screen Store and then abandoned paying us with no explanation just before launch. Roughly $12,000 still owed for the work that was done, and he's blocked all communication.
      Make it right, Jason Brager.

In November 2018 I purchased a ************** 82-inch color tv from James at your Winchester Store. Other than some installation issues which were eventually resolved my Wife and I have been very happy with our purchase until the last few weeks when while watching it at night after about four to six hours the screen would go a murky black and grey but the audio would still work. I can turn off the tv and wait a few seconds before turn on and it would work for sometimes the rest of the night or maybe an hour. It always comes back after turning off and on. Obviously, this is very annoying and not acceptable.

I have troubleshot down to just plugging in my ******* cable box directly to the tv bypassing my ******* processor but it is the same result. I am positive it is the tv issue since the audio always works just the picture is gone. The tv is getting a signal but no processing the picture just audio.

My issue is that when I purchased the tv from James I purchased the extended warranty because he told me that the tv would be replaced if there were any issues with it. It was the main reason that I purchased the tv from your company. Now James is telling me that I have to call a third party fixit company and deal with them myself which is unsatisfactory and NOT WHAT I WAS PROMISED AT THE TIME OF THE SALE BY JAMES. There was no mention of a third-party company and I was told that I could call him and he would take care of it. James claims that there was a change after I made my purchase which seems to be to be just too convenient and regardless is not my problem. You must standby the promise that your employee made to me at the time otherwise it is fraudulent.

I am not dealing with a third-party company to waste hours of my time to troubleshot a problem that takes five or six hours to occur. They are not going to watch it for hours to fail and they cannot fix what is not broken. I want the tv replaced as promised by James who was representing your store.

Mr. Hyde, Thank you for your business. I'm sorry that you're having trouble with your nearly 4 year old TV and am very glad that you purchased the warranty on it so that it is covered. At no time did we or any other retailer ever sell a warranty that would simply replace a malfunctioning TV. The only change that James referenced is that we used to be able to call the warranty company on your behalf to initiate the claim, but that did change and the consumer does need to call the warranty company directly, but that is a relatively simple process and if you have any trouble, we then can reach out to the warranty company on your behalf. The contract is posted on our website and you were emailed a copy of the policy after delivery. It provides for the repair of the TV and replacement in the event repair is not possible or not cost effective. I'm not aware of any warranty for any product that provides for replacement without a repair attempt first and certainly not without evaluation of the product or anyone could call up and say "my X year old product isn't working right" and get a new one years later. Fortunately your TV is covered and the repair will be made at no cost to you. Should repair not be possible, then the TV will be replaced. James has worked for me for 14 years and serviced many thousands of clients and I've never had a client allege that he told them a TV would be replaced without a repair attempt, so I can say with confidence that your recollection is inaccurate. We look forward to getting your TV back in working order as we go through the repair process. Sincerely, Jason B***** General Manager The Big Screen Store

For Mr. B***** to say that his salesmen did not promise to replace my TV if there was an issue is ludicrous because he was not there so he is calling me, his customer, a liar. James is a salesmen and they will say whatever they need to say to sell a product. At the Big Screen Store the customer is not always right maybe never right.

My first experience with them when I bought the TV should have been a harbinger of things to come. They sent their supposed "Expert Installers" to install the TV and they were two kids who didn't have much experience. They did manage to hang it on the wall but could not get it to work properly with the ARC function. I played around with the Big Screen Experts for days trying to get an answer of why this TV would not work properly with my ************ processor. Finally I called the real experts on *********** where I purchased the ******* and they told me it was the HDMI cable which supposedly was high speed according to Big Screen experts. *********** sent me a high quality high speed HDMI cable overnight at no cost which fixed the problem. That is how customers should be treated and I have had other experiences with them all positive.

I have since purchased a new TV from *********** and their installers were outstanding as always. I will try to get the Big Screen ************ fixed through the extended service contract I purchased and put it in my exercise room. I will never use the Big Screen store again for any purchase. Buyer beware.

I was not there, but I know the integrity of my employees, especially James. James has a 4.9 star average rating on Google based on 167 reviews over many years. That wouldn't happen if he were lying to customers to make sales. I'm not calling you a liar, but I am suggesting that you must not remember the interaction clearly from 4 years ago because we would never tell you that a TV would simply be replaced if there was an issue with it nor is that what is stated in the contract that is posted on our website and sent to you from the warranty company.
