    On September 12th I reached out to Briscoe Tonic Funeral home in regards to my fathers insurance policy. They submitted for payment on two separate policies and were paid twice, once through *** **** and the other through *******. however, no one is trying to issue a refund check right away for the funds that I am entitled too. I've submitted proof that that both Agencies paid them and when I call, I get a "When the check comes we will issue you a refund" via the owner. They emailed me back on 9/13 stating that "they are in the process of rectifying this matter". It is now 9/20 and nothing has been done, I spoke with ******* insurance company they stated they issued the check to them the same exact time they issued me the remaining amount in a check form. I received mines on 9/12, which means that they should have received theirs, per the insurance agent. A second release of Benefits should not have been sent on my behalf to a totally different insurance company other than the one I signed while making funeral arrangements for my father. It's already enough dealing with a loved ones demise, but to have to fight to get benefit refunded that you're entitled too is another thing when you have to close out all of your relatives financials. Please assist with getting this matter resolved quickly. Thank you

    Husbands dad asked me to release my husbands body to the funeral home for burial preparations. I sent an email to the funeral home as asked. Funeral home was aware he was married yet filed a false document saying he was divorced and never remarried. Even when I asked for a copy of the death certificates they asked me to prove who I was yet an email was acceptable to get money from a service provided. Not sure what was agreed upon between funeral home and dad but dad asked me to lie in email and say we were divorced and I didn’t because it wasn’t true and it was disrespectful to our status.
