    *** *** ******* highly recommended Clean Sweep Enterprises, Inc. of Westminster to perform restoration on an overflowed toilet in my basement.
    After performing unnecessary services and $13,729.13 later, now wants to put a lien on my home. ***** ****, my insurance company clearly stated that the prices are drastically inflated for “ unnecessary services rendered” on this job. ***** **** issued a check to Clean Sweep for what is deemed as reasonable for the restoration project but continues to sue me the entire amount. Mined you, the area of the basement is small.
    So many thoughts now
    1) Although I provided the representative with a claim number, as an experienced restoration company, why didn’t they call ***** **** to inquire about the amount of coverage to perform such a minor job?
    2) Although the insurance representative tried numerous times to reconcile the inflated prices, Clean Sweep is looking to capitalize off of a project that they should have refused. I understand that business are established to make money, I get that, but to outlandishly overcharge for redundant services shows the true intention and lack of integrity that a company has for its patrons.
    3) As a public school teacher, I have truly learned a life lesson here…not everyone stand on the principles of social norms- treating others with compassion and curiosities that is given to them.
    4) I should have known something was up with this company anytime they feel the need to send out 4 guys for 1 job.
    5) Clean Sweep is not a recommended company when it comes to remediation here in the city. Since *** *** ******* is also in partnership with them, I’m cutting ties with them, too.
    6) Clean Sweep saw this as a means to exploit money from the working poor and now there’s little to no respect for them.
    7) I’ve attempted to seek mediation, but there’s persistent refusal on their end.

    We have made every attempt to work with you and ***** **** in regard to this claim. According to ***** ****, every Mitigation company in business except for their vendor (who dictate what they are allowed to do for their customers) is overpriced and unscrupulous. We have been in business for over 30 years by performing the necessary work to restore our customers' homes to pre-loss condition to ensure the safety and well-being of the people living there. All of our technicians and assistants are certified in every aspect of Mitigation to ensure just that. Not one person you spoke with at ***** **** is certified to perform this work. ***** **** did not try to work with us and we only invoice for what is necessary to ensure that your home is safe for you and your family.
    I am very sorry that you feel we overcharged for our services but as stated previously with both you and ***** ****, we only do what is necessary per the IICRC which is the Industry Certification Company that holds Clean Sweep to a high level of standards. We follow their S500 and S520 book on standard levels of care for each Mitigation job we perform.
    As we had discussed with you earlier, we are happy to work with you in any way that we can but you have refused to work with us. If you change your mind and would like to discuss the situation, please call us.
