    Contract signed 12/27/24, A $4,000 down payment was made at this same time. Fence installation crew installed fence on 1/28/2025??? Upon completion of the fence (only) numerous issues were brought to the companies attention repeatedly. On 3/11/25 I was told by the president that these issues that his fence crew created were my problem and that he was not going to fix them. I estimate that it will cost me an additional $1,500 - $2,000 dollars to hire others to fix the problems they have caused. There is much, much more that needs to be explained, and I have a email chain of events along with over 100 photos of the damage they caused. I will provide all of this additional info to the case worker assigned to my complaint. I would welcome a case worker to view first hand the numerous issues here on site, removing all doubt of the issues that they are refusing to correct.

    We have completed this job the complaints from the customer are that we destroyed his landscaping which we have photos of before and after proving that we did not. The customer did complain that the fence post we installed have dirt around them which was iterated on our contract, if the customer would like to plant grass, mulch or add stone afterward around the posts once the dirt is settled that is on them per our paperwork. we do need to dig a hole to install the posts. We have made two attempts to have the owner and president meet with the customer on the times the customer asked and were refused to enter the property both times. The customer states we need to sign a paper he has created on his own that he will receive $1500 off his bill and we are square. Customer currently has only paid his deposit.

    A lot of the statements made in their response is simply not true. Please see the documents I have sent prior that disproves most of their comments stated in their reply. In the event that is not sufficient, I will need more time to reply, to their reply, line by line.

    Creative Deck Design's response has not changed in regard to the additional information provided by the customer on their complaint.  

    Please see attached for all contracts, communications and pictures in regard to the customer's project, including pictures of both before and after their project which shows the damage the customer has mentioned in the before pictures from before any work was started on his home.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    As this is my first time dealing with the BBB, I am not sure how in depth your investigation of my complaint will be. That said, I would welcome a representative from BBB to visit my home to verify the photos I have sent, as nothing has been changed or altered in any way, shape or form. It remains exactly as Creatives fence installers left it.

    Lastly, my take after reading Creatives responses to my complaint is that they have never had any sincere intentions of repairing any of the issues.

    This being the case, I must ask for a monetary resolution of no less than $1,500 to settle this matter.

    In July 2022, this company built my deck for $15,215. The deck was well built or so I thought. There were some minor issues but at the time nothing that couldn’t be resolved with ease. There was a one year work warranty. In April of this year 2023 (well within the 1 year warranty) I noticed there were cracks in two of the rail connectors. I contacted the company on April 21, 2023 initially by phone, then email with pics of the damage. I was initially told someone would be out in May to repair. No one came. I called back only to be told it was their busy season, it wasn’t a priority and would be out as soon someone was available. I didn’t hear from them and called back in June, July, August and most recently November 1, 2023. When I called in July, I was again told they were too busy and I would have to just wait but someone would come out. Again no one showed. The company has been unresponsive to each of my calls. On November 1, 2023 I left a message. I have yet to hear from anyone regarding this matter. Needless to say I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed by the lack of responsiveness. This is what perturbs me the most. It’s not a big repair but nonetheless, I should have a product reflective of the price I paid. I would like the company to either make the repairs or cover the cost for me to have another company make the repairs. I have been extremely patient with the company and I did not want to file this complaint but felt due to the lack of responsiveness and frustration left me feeling dismissed and my concern about the condition of my deck unimportant.

    This is already being handled and we are aware. We told homeowner we are having this repaired as soon as someone is available.
