      On 5-17-2024 Final Cut cut and removed 3 large trees from the property. The last tree trunk edge landed with a great force on the asphalt driveway leaving a 12 inch hole. The supervisor said he would let his boss know to fix it. I called and texted **** who said he would have it fixed. After thinking about this, I decided that I wanted ****** Paving to fix the hole, since the driveway had been asphalted by this company and had no cracks or repairs. I wanted the driveway to -be made whole- and texted this to ****. I called the office and spoke to another owner who did not want another paving company to repair the hole, since he told me a story of another home owner who wanted an entire driveway paved. I offered for him to meet ****** Paving at my home for his inspection. This morning I met with the ****** Paving to discover that someone came onto my property over the weekend and patched the hole. The product is already loose, is not saw cut and it must now be removed and rematched by my choice of paving company, since I wanted the material to be the same as the original driveway. This is no way to regard a good customer and I will have to look into contacting a lawyer to have the driveway hole fixed according to the standard of the original driveway.

      I am rejecting this response because I had to reach out to them numerous times during the course of the landscaping work order. After spending quite a bit of money my expectation is I would have been in a tickler to address in the spring and not have to constantly followup. As for replacing any laurels, I do not want them to do any more landscaping. My plan is to have the laurels in the back yard replaced with something else that can tolerate full sun all day. The laurels were not appropriate for the area. The front garden laurel was replaced this summer when I did not hear from them.

      Last year we replaced 3 ****** that had died in the back yard.  When we removed the dead plants, we noticed that the soil was extremely wet.  The **** soil under the root ball was not draining.  So, we decided to raise the root ball so that it would not be sitting in the wet soil.  Mrs. ****** stated later on that the ******s were doing well but the ****** in the front yard had died.  I stated I would take care of it in the fall, but we very busy and it got into November before I was able to do the replacement.  So, I told her we would do it in the spring since I do not like to plant broadleaf evergreens so close to winter.  Sometimes they will get winter burn and struggle to push grow in the spring.  Our intentions were to replace the ******, but it got overlooked and slipped through the cracks.  Mrs. ****** never reached back out to us about the replacement or the other ******s struggling or dying.  If she had, we would have replaced them as per the warranty.  I would be happy to send out a crew to replace the ****** in the front and the one that died in the back.  These things happen sometimes but is in no way how Final Cut conducts business with it's clients.
