      My husband and I had been talking to a salesman for a week about buying a *** Denali Ultimate trying to figure out logistics for the sale as we live 3 hours from the dealership. On Thursday 6/5, we had agreed on a plan and were ready to more forward with the purchase. We received the credit application that night, submitted it Friday 6/6 and were told wed be getting a call Saturday morning to discuss financing options. The call we received Saturday 6/7 was to inform us that the truck had actually already been sold on Thursday 6/5 and their inventory wasnt updated. This revelation came after they had already done a hard pull on my husband and Is credit Friday 6/6. The manager profusely apologized and promised to make it right by Monday. They sent us info on one truck Monday which was in no way comparable to the one we were looking to buy. After multiple phone calls and messages left, they ceased all correspondence. Their favorite excuse for their unavailability being were with a customer right now which is an ironic excuse to use on someone who is also a customer. We have made 10+ calls to the dealership, left messages with multiple people and still have not received a word of response from anyone at the dealership.

      On the same date that the *****'s where working on purchasing the vehicle from out of state, it was sold to a customer by a different salesperson in the showroom.  We attempted to offer them the same vehicle which they declined because it was a Canadian Vehicle.  The original vehicle was also Canadian which they did not realize until after we attempted to swap. We apologized and did what we could to offer a solution.  We did not submit their credit to any lenders nor did we exchange any money in the course of a transaction.

      I purchased a ***** C40 on 11/29/24. Initially I had planned to make a deposit on the car while I went to the bank to get a check. Koons said the would not accept it and if I wanted the car I would need to complete a loan application to hold the car while I got the check. I got the check the next day as promised, Koons refused to shred the loan application. They have not given me a copy of the voided loan application and they have not given me a cash receipt for the sale.

      This customer has never done business here at ***************************************************************************************.  I have no customers in my system by the name of ************************ I searched the phone number associated with this complaint and the email in my ******************************** tool and there is no record of this customer.  We have no record of ever having his information for running credit or applying for a loan.  I am 100% confident this complaint is not meant for Koons Chevrolet White Marsh.
