On or about March 24, 2025 my vehicle was repossessed. While it was being repossessed, the front end got extremely damaged. The way itlooks as if the tow truck driver yanked it at the bumper area. When I went to recover my vehicle I had to sign papers, did notice while it was in the yard, and I do have pictures, that the bumper was hanging down from the vehicle on the left side, passenger side. I mentioned it to the lady at the front that my vehicle was damaged and she told me she will have papers me after I sign all the papers to retrieve my vehicle. There were 3 to 4 papers I wrote that there was front bumper damage my vehicle. They only had a **** on the hood and scratches down as damaged. This is the reason why I wrote on those papers that there was front end, bumper damage I also had noticed that she had aspare key put on my paperwork when they were retrieving my vehicle. So that told me they got into my vehicle and disconnected the alarm becauseof the damage that was done it set off the alarm. Now my factory key does not work at all, my alarm does not work at all, and my front camera on the vehicle does not work. So now I am in ************** with no alarm system on my vehicle. Ifilled out all the papers that she had given to me and followed all the instructions certified mailed it back to them, loss prevention contacted me sentthem all the same. Loss prevention denied by claim stating that there was not enough evidence and that it was not marked on the paperwork that there was damage. SoI called loss prevention and asked them for a copy of these papers that they claim I never stated about the damage to the vehicle, they didnt. This is over $5000 worth of damage From the estimate from *** **** ****** on **************. I went to ********************** because its a ****** dealer and they know exactly how to fix a ****** vehicle. No one sent out an adjuster to physically look at the vehicle. They only looked at pictures.

Our team has thoroughly examined the complaint submitted by Mrs. ******* The same issue was reported to Loss Prevention Services, which is our customer who requested our company to facilitate the repossession of the 2017 Nissan Rogue (VIN ******). Enclosed is a photograph taken during the condition report, clearly depicting pre-existing damage in the area cited by the customer. Additionally, Loss Prevention ******************** denied the complaint on April 26, 2025, as documented in the letter provided by Mrs. ******* citing "insufficient evidence to support the claim that damage was caused by our company (Metro Investigation)." Our position on this matter remains unchanged from our initial assessment. We are denying this claim and refuting the allegation that the damages occurred during the repossession process. Furthermore, I have included the signed release documents completed by Mrs. ****** on March 31, 2025, at the time she retrieved her vehicle from our facility.

The picture that the place sent was a picture that they taken when it was in the parking lot before it was towed. I can tell by the reflection of the vehicle that was next to mine in that picture. Also, they never put that down on the paperwork for damages the vehicle had when brought in. The only thing it said as far as damage was and **** on the hood and some scratches. But I noticed that the paper stating damages was not in the paperwork that they sent because I wrote on the paper about damages that were done. If you notice the pictures that I sent with the date of the 31st is all the damages is done after their picture was taken and the pictures I took were taken at the yard. So its clearly damaged from either the tow truck when they removed it from the parking spot or when they were removing it around in the repo yard. The damages were done there and by them. I would like to see camera footage of where my vehicle was brought in, and when it was placed in the spot where they put damaged vehicles.  I really would like them to take accountability for this damage.

After thinking about that day after sending the first response, Im still surprised that this is going on this long.  The picture they sent was the tow truck driver in the parking lot where Im staying.  I sent in photos of the damage when it was in the repo yard and when it was driven out.  I do have a witness that was with me on that day.  I was not able to inspect the vehicle until after I signed the paperwork.   There are 3 to 4 pages missing from what they sent here.  I put at the bottom of those pages about the damage I was able to see while still behind the gate in the yard.  Im still curious as to why a key was made and my alarm was disconnected, I noticed none of that was mentioned.  The damage that is in their picture yes was already done, my bumper was still attached to the vehicle, along with the wheel trim was not damaged in their picture.  You can clearly see the difference in what they sent VS what I sent.  If you dont sign the documents they give you, you will not receive your vehicle back.

This claim has been subjected to multiple thorough investigations by our team, and our stance regarding the existence of damage remains unchanged. We respectfully disagree with several assertions made by the consumer, particularly concerning the locations where our team photographed the vehicle. It is standard practice within the industry to take photographs of all vehicles upon their arrival at our storage facility, coinciding with the completion of the condition report, to ensure driver safety. The decision to create a key for the vehicle was made at the request of the customers lending institution, which engaged our services. We cannot speak to their rationale for requesting keys for vehicles stored at our facilities, nor is it typical practice to disconnect alarm wiring. Furthermore, we have no records indicating that such actions have been taken. Our position regarding this claim remains consistent, even with the additional information that has been provided.

    To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in response to the ongoing dispute regarding the condition of my vehicle, a black Nissan Rogue, which was repossessed and later retrieved from your White ***** location on March 31, 2025. I am formally asserting that the damages currently present on the vehicleincluding both visible body damage and undercarriage impairmentoccurred while the vehicle was in your companys possession.
    Timeline & Evidence
On February 20, 2025, I took a dated photograph of my vehicle which shows the front bumper, fender, and hood intact. (see image titled **********, February 20, 4:37 PM).
On March 31, 2025, I arrived at your **************** facility to retrieve the vehicle. Upon arrival, I photographed the vehicle while it was still behind a locked chain-link fence at approximately 11:1511:16 AM (see photos titled ****************, March 31, 11:15 AM and 11:16 AM).
Later that same morning, at 11:41 AM, additional photos were taken just outside the lot, clearly showing:
    The hood bent and misaligned
    The front bumper partially detached
Visible fender separation and wheel-well damage
On ***** 2, 2025, an inspection at a Rossville location revealed significant undercarriage damage consistent with either rough handling or impact, including torn metal framing and exposed components (see images dated *********, ***** 2).
    Supporting Details
A witness accompanied me at the time of pickup and can attest to the fact that the vehicle was already damaged upon release.
The vehicle had been secured behind a locked gate, further supporting that the damage occurred while under your companys controlnot after it was retrieved.
Additionally, the factory key did not operate the vehicle, and the alarm system appeared disconnected. This led me to believe the hood may have been tampered with or left unsecured, potentially during the tow or while on your lot.
    My Request
Given this documentation, timestamps, and photographic evidence, I am respectfully requesting the company accept responsibility for the damages incurred while the vehicle was in its care and custody. I am seeking full compensation for necessary repairs as outlined in my insurance appraisal and/or reimbursement for related costs.I am hopeful we can resolve this matter swiftly and professionally. I have preserved all image and file data and am willing to provide additional documentation as needed.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

On 04/14/2025, I went to retrieve my belongings from this business. I was told that my vehicle was still there and I can come get my belongings. I am missing several items thats was inside of my vehicle, and I am aware they went inside my console because they put a key chain that I had in my center console in the bay, but not the other items. This business has multiple complaints of stealing, yet they are still allowed to take people vehicles and claim they dont know what happened to the rest of my items with an unnecessary rude attitude. There is years worth of reviews and complaint dealing with this business yet there is no action taken.

On March ******* my vehicle was illegally repossessed. Metro investigation recovery solutions are responsible for towing of the vehicle. on April. 2 ***************************************** reference of retrieving my vehicle, I then was told that I need an appointment and given an appointment at 12:30 to pick up the vehicle under my impression. when I arrived at the ******** i was not greeted at the window after standing there for several seconds I said hello which one of the employees response was yes. I then proceeded to tell them that I was here to recover my vehicle. She started rudely that she do not have a recovery for today.that Im here to pick up personal property. I then proceeded to call the number back. It was the same person I previously spoke to, this time rudely states that the appointment was for property pick, So I didnt go back and forth with them on the phone, so I proceeded back to the window, which I was standing a few feet away to make the second call. Im back at the window they told me I need an appointment, then proceeded to close the window. I called back to get another appointment this time speaking with Mr.Bella, he gives me a 1:30 appointment, so I stood there from 1:00 to 1:30 they finally open the window at 1:35 so I can get my property from the vehicle, I noticed the vehicle front windows where down and one of the staff driving the vehicle. I then asked how was he driving with no key. He then started that they cut a key, he told me I had 10mins very rudely, I proceeded to retrieve my items when his phone rings and he states shes taking pictures In which I was recording because the front windows was down and it has been raining on and off plus I noticed the vehicle wet inside. As of April 4, with several attempts to retrieve my vehicle still no success. I have all documentation along with video of the tow with windows up at the time of tow. I need help with this matter,I can go further into details

I had a repossession of my vehicle on 3/28/25 for being 28 days late I paid **************************** on the same day of 3/28/25 a release form was sent at 1:30 by email and fax I called to see If I could pick up vehicle I was hung up on 2 times so they could prolong time since it was 2:30 at this time I was told as long as they receive form by 3:00 .I went to there anyway to retrieve my vehicle that same day since the forms were sent but was told they had not received the release form I had to make an appointment so I had to wait until Monday. I called 9 am Monday I spoke with a man name ***** who said he just received the paperwork to call back in 30 minutes which I did I was told in order to make a appointment I had to agree to pay ****** to for a storage fee I asked If that was policy and If I could speak to supervisor he said he do not have a supervisor I told him I was recording and he hung up the phone.I called back and spoke with a lady named Naya I asked her about the ****** fee she said its a redemption fee I had to pay in order to make appointment. If it was a written policy it would be no dispute but they had none also I had paid the bank ****** in fees that included a redemption fee of ****** when I got there I spoke with a lady who said they did not mention a storage/redemption fee. this place seems to be extorting people out of fees by prolonging time on fridays since they are closed during the weekend and not releasing vehicle on the same day. And why some people pay and others do not.

    Business Response

    Date: 04/02/2025

We would like to clarify that we collected the appropriate fees as per our contract with the financial institution, once we received the proper release documents from the customer's financial institution we released the vehicle. We did not charge any extra fees for holding the car for additional days nor for any storage. We believe that the customer's request for a refund is not warranted in this situation. We strive to provide transparent and fair services to all our customers.

On 1/31/25, I went to Metro Investigation and Recovery to retrieve my vehicle that was repossessed on 1/16/25 per my bank ************ I set up an appointment at 1:30pm. I arrived at 1:15pm, and didn't receive my vehicle until about 2:20pm. To then had to wait until 3 to get my belongings because they were removed from my vehicle including my tags. I got home and took my belongings inside my home and dumped everything on the floor. They stole so much stuff I am unable to list it all, I definitely want to mention there was $535 missing, my ***** wallet purse attachment, 2 pair rayban glasses 1 pair in a black case, a pair of ***** glasses, and so much more. This place is a scam and banks should know about what they are doing to people's personal belongings. None to mention there was a large, noticeable scratch on my car. In total I paid my bank *********** $4,681.06 to get my vehicle from Metro Investigation and Recovery. They had no business going through my personal property. I will in fact file a police report because there is no reason anyone should get away with stealing from a customer.

Good Afternoon,How are you? I hope all is well as we prepare to step into a New Year. My name is ***** ********** a resident of *********************. I was told to reach out to you regarding an incident that occurred where my vehicle was stolen/unlawfully towed from my driveway by the company mentioned above: Metro Investigation & Recovery Solutions located at: ***********************************************************. When I noticed the vehicle was taken I immediately called the police which the report number and case information is on file. I originally purchased the vehicle out of ******** through a dealership located in ********, ********. Since I made the purchase I had ongoing issues with the vehicle and staff and reached out to get the help I needed. The vehicle also had to get the engine replaced a month after I financed it. The work was done and the vehicle was returned back to me. The dealership had high end cars to cars that were inexpensive. The following year we found out that the Dealership and the *************** were shut down for business and could no longer have contact with consumers nor do business. I dug a little deeper and found out that there is an on going H343***39383031303339H that is currently taken place or may be completed, not sure because when I spoke to the Special Agent from *** he couldnt disclose any information with me regarding the H343***39383031303339H but advised me to get an Attorney for my matter and I will be good from there. According to what I know and tried my best to explain to the ************ improper paperwork was presented to them to render my vehicle and I lawfully blame the *********** for failing to pay close attention to the paperwork that was provided to them. I asked them for information on why or what made them tow my car and they were rude and would not provide me with any valid information. I had personal and sentimental items in the vehicle such as pictures of my late mother who was murdered in *********, County by her then fianc&#***; who became obsessed with her along with other photos that I just retrieved from a relative during a trip to ************** where my mom was originally born. I also had other items in the vehicle that I couldnt retrieve due to the distance of the *********** and the work hours and business hours clashed with mines. The dealership hired the tow company to retaliate and take not just my vehicle but other consumers as well from all over in different States, again this was far from a repo, this was them being hateful and they were fully warned not to tamper with any of the vehicles or reach out to consumers period! When you look at my title it states that the vehicle belong to me with no lien holder attached so that should have told them something but they failed to listen as I tried to present that paperwork to retrieve my vehicle back. Since then we as a family have been struggling to get to work as we originally live in ******** before moving to ********. My 2 oldest children work in ******** and so do I. I currently work for ****************************** doing Administrative work and was just offered a job through *****************************, night shift for the ************** where I have to have fingerprints done tomorrow on base in ******** with no transportation there. Since this ordeal I have lost my job through the STATE GOVERNMENT in ********, ******** where I worked for Planning and ***************** working with Permits and Zoning related matters as my transportation failed so did my job and my ******************************** of over $53,000 that is no longer available to me. I have several highly professional job offers with no transportation so I had to turn them down as I live in *******, ******** with a little to no transportation, to walk to a bus stop its an hour away and over 3 miles to do so. An **** or Lift is an average of $40 per day for each of us transporting to ********. Sometimes I will leave out early to commute with my son and just sit outside my job early as he has to be to work at 6:00-6:30am. My daughter works for ********************** which is an even further commute. My bills have pulled up, I am now a single parent who also had to make other arrangements to get to ********, ********** to bury my daughters father 2 days after my car was taken. Attached will be documentation showing that their is absolutely no Lien Holder on the Title which gave the Metro Investigation & Recovery Solutions no right to listen to a company that was shut down, under Federal Investigation and unlawfully took advantage of numerous consumers, along with the finance company. Thank you, please help,***** **********

This company is very unprofessional. I went to retrieve my items out of my vehicle ( which i was told i can do on my own) but once i got there they had my stuff in a dusty trash bag, my items and everything dirty and loose. that was the first problem, someone else went through my belongings and I dont even know when they did that nor how long my stuff have been sitting in their possession out in the open. My airpods was in the car ,they have my name on it, which i know because thats where they were last located. I searched the entire bag that they gave me which i know was already off because i had way more stuff that all cant just fit in one bag. I stayed on that lot until i found them which i didnt so i asked the guy at the booth if he knows who went through my car just so i can ask if they saw it or anything like that but he said he couldnt and gave me a paper to fill out about stolen items. Fast forward a month later my AirPods are tried to be connected and a new location pops up at someones house and now im going to get the police involved to see if it was an employee or if they were involved. not only was my airpods missing but my work parking pass, complex parking pass and along with many other items of mine were missing.
