A quote was received by contractor, *********************** of Imperial Builders in 7/23 (The address on quote was old address) for relatively small job on old farmhouse at ************ **************. $4,876.45 check mailed to old address since not notified of move. Cancelled check and wired funds to contractor's account with understanding it was to pay for ordered materials. $52 bank fees he agreed we would subtract from final balance when job was completed. Multiple times assured that job would be done, but still not done and does not answer phone or respond to emails or text messages. Multiple excuses for not doing what was agreed to. He had death of mother in ******** he said in late October. Last promise to start replacement of old cedar shingles with vinyl siding and ********** was 11/8/23. Still not done. Absolutely no confidence that he will do the job, especially now that winter weather has arrived. I asked for copy of paid receipt for building materials, but that request ignored. Seems like a con job at this point. Our LLC just wants its money back. This LLC is family owned, non-commercial for holding and maintaining old farmstead for short term family use late Spring into the Fall.

Options made available do not allow me to explain.  Out of the blue I did receive a text message from the builder saying that he would do the work starting Jan 3, ****; however, he has said he would start on multiple dates in the past and never lived up to his word.  So, I withhold judgement at this time.
