    My son and I put our stuff in this storage unit on August 30th 2022 , as we were facing eviction . The storage unit is not air tight , allowing bugs , spiders , and water damage to persons belongings . My recent payment was due on 11/30/22 , And I thought I had paid but possibly not as I cant find a recipt. The owners will not allow me to make small payments , and have only given me 14 days to come up with $150.00 , plus a $25.00 late fee , my stuff will be going to auction . ***** state law says a minimum of 45 days to go to Auction and a letter by certified mail Should he sent to the owner from what I am reading this is illegal . I have important paperwork I need to retreive that has my deceased parents financial paperwork and social security numbers , along with my personal belongings such as a hope chest that my dad gave me . Storage unit will not allow me to put down $45.00 today to try and resolve my account . Im afraid that this is fraudulent and they may do this to many people , who do not know their rights . Also most of my stuff is most likely damaged due to their negligence of not sealing the unit to keep it free from pests , and water/humidity damage .

    I have explained to **************** that this is not a climate-controlled unit after she told me about there being some spiders in the unit.  I explained to her this is basically a garage as any other outdoor storage unit is and if this is not what she wants then she should look for a different storage facility as we do not offer that type of units here.  She made the choice to keep her belongings in the storage unit knowing the type of unit it was. 

    **************** has had difficulty paying since she moved her belongings into the storage unit.  The first 2 months were paid by a caseworker.  She finally came up with the monthly rent for the October 30 payment after she told me the caseworker would not return her calls.  Then she could not make the November 30th payment and has been sending threating texts to the point where I told the office not to answer them.  She has said that we refused her payment which is not true.  She has not been to the office to make a payment since she made the October 30 payment on November 1st.  One of her friends called and made her November 30th payment and her storage unit is open for her to get her belongings from it.

    My office staff doesn't feel safe with her coming to the office due to her aggressive demeanor and she is always telling them that they are lying and that we should just let her in her unit for free.

    I have tried to work with her, but it is not in the best interest for our staff or other customers.  Due to all of the reasons above, I have terminated our contract with **************** and she can retrieve her belongings.
