Dons No Preference Towing in ****** ***** was over paid for a job and wont refund the extra $100 owed back to me. I paid in full for a tow job which I have the receipt. Then my insurance company was supposed to refund me $100 (which is what my insurance covers on my policy) but the insurance company paid Dins Towing the $100 instead of me. Dons towing is now refusing to pay me the $100 back. Not only arent they paying me back but the owner *********************** patronizes me for asking for my $100.00 Asking me if $100 means that much to me Poor business at the highest degree! They might be doing this with other people whose insurance is paying and Dons is pocketing the money. Theyve lied to me telling me a false name of the owner. Its just unbelievable! They wont speak professionally and I refuse to be mocked. When I explain things to them, they cut me off or hang up on me. I feel like I have no where else to turn. At this point, Its a about the principle not the $100

We here at ***'s went above and beyond to try to get to the bottom of this situation-correctly. The incident happened 1/31- and last night (8/22) you said you did not call your insurance until AFTER you paid. I have the proof (attached) that we had payment FROM all state before your payment. The email FROM allstate is also attached- stating that we do not owe you $100.00.

In this complaint you said that we were are refusing to give you the $100.00. When we spoke last night- you were going to get the $100.00 that we don't legally have to give you- since your insurance company stated we do not owe you anything. We were going to send you the $100.00 just because of this whole ordeal. We did not lie to you about the owner- there are currently 2 owners of this business- I'm sorry you had a poor experience with us here at Don's.

I need to see what date that email from Allstate dispatch was sent to Dons Towing. The problem is, the dispatch attachment only provides the information on when the tow occurred but NOT the date of which Dons towing was paid by Allstate for the tow job on 1/31/23. The email attached proves that Dons Towing was paid $100.00 on my behalf AFTER I fully paid the tow bill. The tow would never have been completed if it wasnt paid in full. Allstate didnt pay Dons Towing $100.00 until AFTER I already paid. The job was $200 (which i have the receipt) THEN Allstate sent Dons Towing $100 extra Only after Allstate paid the extra $100 did Dons Towing say it was a $300 towing job! I still have never seen any proof that the job was $300 OR that Allstate paid $100 BEFORE I paid $200.
