*****, the guy running the massage program spent most of my class time talking about things that have nothing to do with massage. This left little time to learn anything whether it be hands on or learning more about anatomy ( which is required to know about if one is to pass the state exam) Even after I spoke to him about it at the beginning of school, it continued to happen. After a few months of continuous frustration, i decided to quit. When he asked why, I was honest but his response was "I'm sorry to hear that" and There are no refunds" When ******, his wife and person in charge of the yoga teacher training program) heard that I wanted to quit, she emailed me to say that she was confident that she could resolve these issues. Me being the nice person that I am was willing to sit down with her and talk to see if she would make things right so that i could get a proper education and actually get what I paid for. I told her that I would meet with her after I attended a yoga class in the morning ( 2 free yoga classes a week -a perk for being a massage student). She replied with "the yoga classes are not available to you until you make your April payment and talk to me." I said ok, then I wont be driving an hour away to be there at 9am and that i could meet with her later in the morning. She replied with "this should be a priority for you and that if you were already coming here for yoga at 9am, then you need to be here at 9am to talk to me instead. She also told me that if i quit there are no refunds. After the response I received, it was confirmed to myself that I needed to quit. Not only did i have a poor experience with the school, but there is a smell of mold throughout the building. Incense is lit daily to block out the smell. I also was shocked that at a yoga class i attended there with *** ***** (someone who everyone rants and raves about how good she is) said the "f" word at least 5 times during class. The class was also not that great.
