      I had an account with them and had overdraft protection set up so I couldn't overdraft. The carrier I have my phone through tried to automatically withdraw the payment but I didn't have enough so it denied it once the carrier tried a second time and again it was denied but the third time they tried the bank let my account get overdraft and I wasn't using the account I had switched to a new one and didn't know it had been overdraft until about 8 months later I randomly went to use the account again and saw that I was negative hundreds of dollars so I contacted the bank and they said it was my fault it go overdraft and I had to pay....how can that possibly be my fault when I had a protection set up for that exact thing but they allowed it to go through after 3 times..still trying to resolve the issue over 2 years later

      I have been with Bangor Savings Bank for more than 13 years and they have never let me down. They were pro-active once when a glitch with my debit card threatened to leave me stranded out of town. Their **************** deserves an A+. That says a lot in a day when even "C" **************** is rare. I freely recommend them to friends who are looking for a new bank. Thank you, Bangor Savings Bank!
