    My dog was pregnant & in very critical condition resulting in the medication that was given. Even after the information I had given the vet at the time. She was seen same day by an ER vet, who told me the medication given by this vet was what caused her critical status. Regardless of the concerns I expressed, I was not respected, or listened to.Recently she was critical & was yet again, turned away. This has not happened one, twice, not three, but multiple times by this office.

    The pregnant dog situation happened in 2023. This client refused diagnostics when her dog was pregnant, and potentially in labor. ** were not given clear information from the owner in regards to when pregnancy could have occurred (so wouldn't know when to expect full-term), or when labor started, and the owner had limited funds. The owner agreed to giving ******** after 1 xray to confirm no pups were in the birth canal or in the wrong position, and then took her dog home for the day. The dog went to the e-vet that evening when she hadn't yet given birth to any of the puppies, and was taken in for an emergency cesarian. The pups were all delivered and lived, and the mom did well after surgery. ** don't know what was said to her by the e-vet, but we gave a microdose of ******** here, with the instructions that if signs of labor continued, the dog needed to be seen ASAP.

    Recently, the owner called us to let us know that her other dog was lethargic and "acting off." But she had no idea why as p never leaves her side. At that moment we did not have any openings as we were down a dr. ** did put the pet on a call list for the following day and also recommended the e-clinic. Told the owner not to wait if she thinks it becomes urgent as we cant promise we will have people cancel for the following day and we will still be down to 1 Dr at that time. The owner understood and wasn't upset. The next day she asked for all her pets things to be sent to ****************. No staff here ever yelled or cursed at her. ** did ask if she was transferring permanently and the reason, to try to correct any potential issue. 

    Just for your knowledge, we have gotten her pets in before for urgent care situations within hours. ** can't guarantee same-day availability. ** have also paid for her pet's needs out of our Angel **** before when she was in need, so we definitely haven't historically treated her badly across the board.
